Daytime Grill Family Restaurant

Perfect diner type spot for breakfast. Everytime we come the food is cooked exactly how we want it. Simple menu done right. I've started lowering the salt in my diet, and asked them for no salt on the steak or potatoes and they easily accommodated that. My go to spot for breakfast/brunch now.

All day breakfast was fantastic. All of the ingredients seemed to be very fresh. The Banana bread french toast was to die for. Staff was really friendly and accommodating.

Home fries taste like Chinese food. Washrooms smell terrible. Service is decent but I wouldn't recommendFood: 2/5

A sorry state of affairs at Daytime Grill this morning. We were seated at a half-full restaurant, got our coffees, made our orders, and then waited 40 minutes. Only one refill on the coffee in that 40 minutes, and the wait staff seemed overwhelmed while food was dying in the window.. at one point, six plates of food were left unattended for about five minutes before being served. After the 40 minutes, our waiter came back to ask us our orders again lost in the kitchen shuffle?, and the food was rushed out 5 or 10 minutes later.. my egg order was wrong, and my sausages looked more like hot dogs that had only been cooked on one side almost burnt; something on par with what you would see at a 3-star Cuban resort breakfast buffet. The toast and eggs were fine, although the home fries were a mix of fresh ones mixed with burnt, over-seasoned ones. Overall, it was pretty disappointing and we won't be returning. As something a famous political figure south of the border would tweet, "SAD!"

Great service, large portions, great price. Unfortunately the Chinese good was not to my taste. We are considering coming back for the other menu.Food: 2/5

Good food and good service. Our server told us she was new and apologized in advance incase anything went wrong. In the end she did a great job and we were happy that we choose to dine here!

Should be called bad time grill, because that's my experience. Went in with 4 people, 3 of us ordered steak and eggs one ordered a CHEESEBURGER. Steak and potatoes were not seasoned at all, also some potatoes were cooked fully, others were not. I ordered an extra egg and a side of bacon, both of which came out 10 minutes after all our food came out. The CHEESEBURGER had no cheese on it and when we told the waiter he said "I guess the kitchen missed that memo"... then he proceeded to bring out cold cheese for my friend to put on his burger. Seemed like no one knew what they were doing, will not be returning.

I was with a party of four for breakfast. We all had the special with various sides and all enjoyed our meals. Portions were generous and potatoes and eggs were well prepared. Meat items and coffes were also tasty. Service was better than average for the type of restaurant. Prices were acceptable for post-covid.

Portion size are perfect. Everything is fresh. Owner and all staff are very friendly. Also they use Cobbs bread for the toast which is a big W.
