The place is small but neat and well organized. The atmosphere is nice and would be perfect if it wasn't too tight.... only two tables and tight. The mocha is good not sweet at all and I liked the tiramisu dacquoise and the honey pistachio... the portion is quite small for the price though. Good service.Food: 4/5
I came here for the coffee challenge. He ordered our doughnuts fresh from a place across the street. You can tell the owner really is passionate about coffee. If I lived in Richmond this would be my go to place for coffee. He custom stamps his own logo on each cup!
Quality over quantity! The place makes really good coffee and they for sure focus on good products over giving you a lot of mediocre product. There are lots of other things like coffee beans and some brewing equipment. Shop looks cute on the inside, but has a few small tables. Would probably not be the best for a sip and study spot.
Service: Food: ? Drinks: Seating/Decor: Staff are very friendly and the owner is always willing to talk and give advice about coffee. English isn’t their strongest but definitely not an issue. Small selection of pastries and snacks but haven’t given them a try. Every drink on the menu has been spectacular and I doubt you will regret ordering any of them. Very small seating availability but a relatively cozy store. Not sure how they feel about customers staying for long periods of time due to the lack of seating but they didn’t seem to have an issue while I was there for a few hours. Whether you are just getting into coffee or a long time coffee addict I would highly recommend giving this store a try.
This cafe is awesome, Mark the owner is super friendly, he has amazing knowledge about coffee and tea. He will always pick the right one for you. The atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend you take you time and talk to Mark, sit down have enjoy the drink. P.S: desserts are great too
I... Don't get the hype about this place. The food was pricy, not that good and small. The tiramisu I ordered was great actually, thought it was too small. It was also really messy. Couldn't eat without spilling the powder all over the table. My friend ordered a matcha dessert and it came way too sweet and dry. She literally gave me hers since she didn't want to finish it. The bubble tea coffee was different, it was good! But it wasn't really worth the price since it was twice as small than the ones you can get at Bubble tea places. Otherwise, what really dissappointed me was the area. There are hardly any space to sit. 3 people max in the store or else you would feel uncomfortable. The seats were crammed in with the tables, right next to each other. Yes, you can talk with the owner about coffee, but for a 4.9/5 rating, I just thought that it would be better. Food: 3.5/5 Space and comfort: 2.5/5 Price: $$ Décorations: 4/5
Super nice atmosphere and desserts. Pour over is really smooth and espresso is flavorful. Cute cafe in Richmond which is recently opened! Coffee bean is on slightly lighter side but it’s really tasty with oat latte
Rarely found a good coffee place in richmond. They have a lot of good coffee beans that the owner picked. Recommend pour over.
Came to Sunny M to have some coffee/ tea and cake on Black Friday afternoon. It was quiet. I really appreciate the owners helping me narrow down the choices based on my preference. The Berry Balm herbal tea was floral and fruity. Ethiopian pourover was smooth and delicious. Lychee cake was not on the menu, very delicious and not too sweet. They also made warm whipped milk for my child.
The owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. I loved their peach flavoured coffee, wifi speed was very fast, but not so impressed with the dessert
