Well Tea

Well Tea serves delicious and authentic Taiwanese food and hotpot. I would recommend the popcorn chicken, which is seasonally to perfection and accompanied by light vegetable appetizers. The "well" in the name of the restaurant refers to a stone shaft that is filled from the top by water coming from a bamboo pipe.

A fairly inexpensive place to have a casual meal with friends and/or family. The deep fried chicken nuggets with fried rice seems to be the go to for a lot of people, but remember to try the other dishes they have on the menu! Well Tea is good for late night hangouts as well.

Good authentic Taiwanese food. Fairly empty now due to current COVID-19 situation.

Decent food. Service was better this past visit than previously but don't expect it when it is busy. Drink was done well half sweet but the tapioca pearls are too firm like they have been pre made the day before.

Great food and reasonable prices. This place has a family friendly feel that encourages you to sit and enjoy the place.

Average Bubble Tea food in Richmond. We ordered the fatty pork with rice and the beef noodles which didn’t have many beef pieces to be honest. Their natural taro milk tea is very good!

Had the deep fried chicken thigh which was quite good. Generous portion of chicken and very tasty. Comes with appetiser sides and rice. Reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and the place was clean.

Best Taiwanese style nuggets you'll find in a sit down restaurant locally. Best friend tofu anywhere, hands down. If you know what the specialties are on the menu, you won't ever leave disappointed. Cozy atmosphere and great service. It's my second home, and I always look forward to coming back.
