Great experience. Pictured is a Standard Hand-Tied Bouquet with the request being as follows: "This is for a girl's university graduation. Colours she likes are pinks, blues, and white. Also preferable if the bouquet is wrapped in brown paper, is more flowery, and less leafy/green"
We love it here! Always a great experience browsing and shopping while you wait for your coffee order. The food and drink are great too - perfect to enjoy on the patio.
My experience was less than satisfactory, to say the least. I ordered a small bouquet for my small wedding ceremony and had pretty good instructions on the pallet I was looking for, what flowers I like, and the style depending on what's available of course, suggestions welcome in my first email. The florist I was emailing seemed very nice and pleasant to converse with, but I got none of what I'd described. My florist refused to send any visuals or collaborate with me at all during the week, claiming to be way too busy for me, even when the flowers were finished, and I requested a picture right away; just in case I'd like to change something, she ignored me. A day before my wedding is not a time for surprise designs and a "you'll see" attitude! needless to say, I was freaking out.... so my husband picked up the flowers while I was at work, and when I got home, I hated them...it was a huge red blob, not the small, burgundy, white, dark blue, with copper accents and a gothic appeal I had described in my first email. if she had just granted me one picture, I could have prevented my disappointment. I cried I was so frustrated. Luckily my husband's an amazing man, we opened a bottle of wine, and he helped me salvage what we could out of this mess of what we had... it was too late to get anything else, everything was closed. So conclusion, the store is very pretty, and I'm sure their coffee's very tasty, but I would exercise caution ordering anything custom from here if you want to be involved with the design you'll get. I even emailed her about this after and heard nothing back, It's really a shame, they seemed so nice.
This is my number 1 go to cafe in Guelph! All my money is going to iced matcha lattes and especially iced strawberry matcha lattes when they have that on special. This is the perfect place when you need a special treat. You can also browse their curated market items and florals which are perfect for gift giving. Their indoor seating area is peaceful and their outdoor area is the perfect mix of sun and shade.
A beautiful cosy interior. Romantic outdoor seating area. Welcoming, lovely staff. A great spot to relax and enjoy a delicius coffee and apple pie cookie.
Beautiful,warm and cozy place to have a coffee or ice ream with your friend or love one. Atmosphere is gorgeous with all the beautiful plants .Service is warm and friendly. Will recommend it to everyone to go at least once .
Words cannot express how perfect these people are!!!! Ever since my sister first took me to this shop, I knew Blooms + Flora would be doing my wedding flowers. Robyn is lovely to work with. Despite all the Covid chaos and having to replan everything 4 times in 2 years not kidding, Robyn and the team were so supportive and understanding. She made my flower dreams come true and created even more beautiful arrangements than I could’ve ever imagined. My bouquet was stunning, and my bridesmaids loved their arrangements. I rented a beautiful birch arbour and Robyn created a magnificent installation. She helped me with some arrangements for my Persian wedding table. She also included lovely vases for the centrepieces that the guests were thrilled to take home. Serious talent, an eye for beauty, and totally works with your vision. Everyone was raving about your work. I love you guys so much! THANK YOU!!
I am obsessed with this cute little cafe and shop! The staff were so friendly and helpful. They have amazing floral arrangements and a great back patio to sit and enjoy your coffee and treats! A hidden Guelph gem, I will definitely be returning
Friendly staff and a great selection of houseplants, pots, and accessories. Really pleasant atmosphere! They have a unique selection of fresh-cut flowers and awesome florists too.
Blooms + Flora never disappoints! My sister sent me flowers from Blooms + Flora last spring for my birthday and I fell in love with the design and fragrance. I knew right away that I wanted my wedding bouquet to be from here. I love that they have an option for ordering wedding flowers a la carte as we were having a small wedding. They were easy to communicate with & quick to respond. I ordered a bridal bouquet and two bridal attendant bouquets for our September wedding and they came out even better than I imagined!
