Ordered a brunch special: farmers breakfast bowl. What a delicious, and surprisingly filling meal! The ingredients are local and so fresh. The store is very clean and I love the atmosphere. The staff are impressively friendly and polite - one of the cooks yelled out to me that the "food's on the way, just getting a little love" while I was waiting. The prices are higher than what you might be used to, but the high quality, locally sourced ingredients and environmentally conscious packaging is completely worth it. If you're vegetarian/vegan, keep this place on your radar since there are many options for those diets.

Ordered from this place for the first time today and we absolutely loved it! The food was so delicious and clearly made with love! I love that there are so many vegan options available, and my body is definitely appreciative of the healthy food. We will definitely be ordering again!

Grassroots is a must! Their mouthwatering dishes, food pairing flavours with homemade dressing, healthy yet delicious choices, and all around welcoming staff, make this place one of my top picks! I can honestly say I have tried 90% of their menu and have yet to be disappointed. They also carry Lululemon clothes, and have fun workout classes in their back studio. Thanks for introducing KANGOO to me! Grassroots Market & Studio brings to Guelph a very satisfying, on-the-go option, that nourishes my body.
Really tasty and health conscious. I loved the plate of comfort, every item is made perfectly and it's very filling. Staff are super friendly too.
This place is a labour of love. Everything is so well looked after. Last time I noticed that they changed their menu board and it is more eye friendly than before. They also removed a couple of dishes, but my favourite savoury one remained. You can tell that the owners are always present and involved from front of the house to kitchen to serving tables. I have always felt welcome and like I am treating myself to a really hearty nutritious meal. It is definitely worth paying a bit more than at Starbucks or Tim Hortons!
My friend and I had the most delicious lunch today. The care and presentation of our food was outstanding! The vibe in the restaurant is low key and it was a pleasure to meet the owner, the chef and their beautiful family. The service was quick and attentive. We've already decided to back to check out the rest of the menu. Well done Grassroots!
WOW!! Discovered my new fave Vegan GF foodie place in Guelph. Definitely will be back to eat at @grassrootsinc.ca!!! I had a super delicious cauli chipotle almond burger with sweet potato fries and vegan ranch dressing. And my daughter had a Rowe Farm turkey handheld sandwich. She LOVED it!!! Extremely good!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great job Ryan and Hong!!
