Wonderful clear day to take the Sea to Sky Gondola. The actual Gondola ride is longer than it looks. And to think some people only take it one way. The summit lodge was a nice setup. Decent food options and gift shop but more importantly is the view. Throw in the suspension bridge and 2 of the simpler trails and it's easy to spend a few hours there.
What a view! A very enjoyable ride with beautiful scenery. At the top they have trails, a park, place for food and drink, and a suspension bridge. Highly recommend breathing in the fresh air here. Be sure to catch Shannon Falls right next door, short walk with a great reward.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Hiked up the Sea to Sky Summit Trail. Was definitely a hard hike, took about 3.5 hours to get to the top. Make sure to pack extra water! Gondola down the mountain closes at 7pm. I recommend checking out the panorama trail on top, a short 15 minute trail with an amazing view.
The Sea to Sky Gondola’s summit lodge to the north of Vancouver is an excellent place for a break while hiking the nearby trails. The summit lodge is maintained well, clean and had friendly staff. You’ve got a gift store with a diverse selection of gift items to choose from and also, a bar and a small food store that sells wraps and sandwiches. There’s a free water refill station too. For a touristy place, the prices aren’t too bad. There are spectacular views from the lodge, especially if one chooses to sit outside.
Amazing views at the top! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to lack of food service available and most being offered was sold out. If this standard was met, it would have been a much better experience.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
What an incredible view! Would have loved to do the trails but did not have right equipment. I would love to come back in all the different seasons. The lodge is great with soup of the day, snacks and a bar!Visited onWeekend
A must visit when in the Vancouver area. The gondola ride up was nice, long and quite an adventure. At the summit the views are breath taking, and the hike options are endless for different comfort levels.
Great trail , We just did June 23 2021 it took us 3.5 hrs to the top .you must have trail shoes or boots .Great and beautiful views then had a beer and fries
Prices are actually fairly reasonable for a tourist place like this, which was a surprise. Honestly, I was prepared for it to be expensive and barely mediocre at best. Just grabbed a cappuccino and it was not terrible! Good foam and they even attempted some latte art! Nice touch from the barista. It was better than Starbucks to be honest, which I know isn't saying much but it is something. Lots of seating too. I made the mistake of eating fast food before heading up thinking it was going to be packed and expensive. I wish I hadn't cos for the first time, this was a tourist spot that I think I would actually enjoy and wasn't a total ripoff. Food on the patio looked and smelled good.
Spectacular views, fresh air, pristine nature. Gondola up and down is a smooth ride. Panorama walk provides superb photo opportunities.Reservation recommendedYes
