I absolutely love this campground! Lots of RV space and tent camping. Perfect for families, everyone was either in bed or reasonably quiet by 10:30pm. During the day lots of people like to leave the site to go to lake etc. I felt totally safe leaving my camp unattended, without fear of having anything stolen. Running water for drinking/dish washing stations. Proper washrooms with hot showers. CELL SERVICE! The front office also sells ice and pops/sports drinks. There’s even a charging station for electronics. The list goes on. Another really big plus for me, I am extremely allergic to mosquitos and at any other campsite I’m usually bitten at least 5 times within the first 10 minutes. We stayed for 3 days and I only got 2. We will definitely continue coming back :
The spot we had was excellent, Blue 03. So much room for activities; it was an excellent spot to get our things in order before our hike to Panorama Ridge. The biggest thing we noticed here was the absence of bugs. Maybe we were lucky of the conditions but there were little to none pesky bugs. I don't think we even used the bug spray once here at all. Portypotty right beside us but the comfort station was a small walk away. Very tidy. Showers are spacious, double tap and curtains. Potable water in every spot Walsh from your site.
I spent a great week at the MTN Fun Basecamp until Friday night rolled around. The campsite is not regulated after 10pm when staff are no longer around. Weekend party campers stayed up till 2am talking very loudly with little or no regard for the other campers and their children. The overall advertised concept of this campsite is laid back and mountain bike friendly. I would give this place a 5 star review if you're staying Monday night to Thursday night. However the weekends Friday 4pm till Sunday late afternoon are for young party animals, loud conversations and non-camping lifestyle behavior. Give this place a miss if you want to have a relaxing camping experience on weekends of holidays.
I parked my camper there in January for about 10 days while I was doing some training. The host I can't remember his name was so wonderful and accommodating. Helped me park my camper trailer and everything. The location was great in that it was just outside of town, but not too far from anything. There were no cheap hidden costs like pay showers or anything, he even let me do my laundry for free as I only had one small load and my own soap. I would absolutely recommend this place and if I ever found myself needing to camp in Squamish again I would totally go back there.
We ended up staying here due to our truck breaking down, down the street. What initially was a nightmare quickly turned into an awesome experience. We love this campground and intend on revisiting every year. The sites in the back across the river are awesome, would be a great place for a large group. If you are looking to go camping in Squamish, this is the place. Tons of mountain biking trails, walking/hiking trails, and a great little cafe just a few min walk away. The staff was incredible!
Great little place. The owners are very gracious and attentive! We are staying in the hotel and it is so peaceful, rooms are very comfy. Good quality king bed fantastic coffee, enjoying on our private deck.
This is our go to camping/RV spot when visiting the Squamish area. The staff is nice and the amenities are ok. It’s close enough to town where I don’t feel like I’m going out of my way to get the the store. We really love how close this is to MTB trails. The biggest issue I have is the amount of black mold growing in the shower area. I mean everywhere too. The floor, ceilings, and walls are covered. The first time I visited was in 2018 at the start of the summer season, I thought maybe they just hadn’t gotten around to it. But it’s noticeable. There are a few spots where it looks like someone tried to wipe it off, but they quickly gave up. For $60+ a night I was hoping they’d up their cleaning routine and put the shower curtains in the wash. I don’t want to think of those spores opening. Wear flip flops in there! The dish wash area could also use some gravel for draining otherwise you’re standing in the mud. Would stay here again if I had my own shower.
We stayed mid sept. Very very quiet good sites. Wifi & cable were not up to par but very few campgrounds can give you good wifi. Great place to park and explore the area. Good pricing. We had services for our RV so I can’t comment on other amenities.
This place is amazing, the owner is so kind and helpful. You will enjoy staying here for sure. It is so clean and well managed. We absolutely will come back. One of my favorites
Loved this place! We were in an RV, and we actually spent a lot of time walking around, fantasizing about coming back to this or that particular site the tent sites are to die for. I don't give 5 stars very often, but this place is gorgeous. Great cheerful staff, too...
