Summa Health Medina Medical Center

This place is a complete joke. My wife was needing her appointment so she can get help, and because of terrible road conditions it would have put us 10 minutes late, what we were told was oh well now you gotta wait longer cause we're understaffed. Excuse me!! The health and well being of other people should not be limited to 10 minutes. This is unacceptable. This place and the people are a joke for anybody wanting an ultrasound sooner rather than later call a place called pregnancy solutions and they can get you in right away

The Physical Therapists are outstanding. I’ve never had to wait. Things run efficiently and on time. Jimmy and Cody are so friendly and professional. And I am seeing results thanks to their expertise. I would highly recommend.

My family doctor is at Summa Lake Medina. They are always super quick to get me in and out. In fact, last time I was there, I was taken early for my appointment. I am always treated very well when I come here. When my regular doctor’s office was booked, they checked our Summa providers’ schedules to see if there were any openings. I ended up going to UH urgent care for convenience, but I think I’ll make the trip to Fairlawn next time I need urgent care. The only thing missing at this facility is an urgent care center. Otherwise, Lake Medina is an awesome center.

To anyone considering coming here, don’t. I have felt neglected throughout my whole pregnancy. Since I started coming here about 20 weeks into my pregnancy I have been canceled on 3 times for some of the most stupid reasons! I felt like they didn’t care about my health or the health of my baby. Half the time you can’t even get ahold of the office to ask questions or even reschedule those canceled appointments. They have foul attitudes everytime I go in and rush you through appointments. Worst experience of my life!

Don’t go here for a CT. They don’t post results as quickly as they COULD or SHOULD!!! It took them many days to release results. When I go to Barberton for a CT, the results are in my MyChart the same day, and before my doctor even calls me! This is how it should be!!! Medina doesn’t care that they’re making people wait! If they did they wouldn’t make them suffer with waiting on results that could mean life or death. We pay you a lot of money for our care. Insurance companies pay you a lot of money for our care. You all make sure your money coming in is number one!!! Have the common decency to give terrified patients their results in a timely matter. It’s disrespectfully unacceptable and extremely unprofessional! I’ll stick with Barberton.
