Sub Town

The best thing in Subtown is the staff; they’re super friendly! We ordered 7 different subs but we liked only one. The hummus was missing something, a dash of lemon may be. I doubt I will order again from Subtwon. However, I appreciate they use environmentally friendly packaging materials instead of plastic.

Very few places you’ll ever eat in your life where the first bites take you back to your childhood in the Middle East. In Lebanon/Middle East there are many sandwich places that have their own style and types of sandwiches/subs that are similar to western ones but yet completely different. This place has some how replicated the feeling and taste of those sandwiches and they’re the only place in Canada I’ve ever been to that has ever done it. These are some of the best subs I’ve ever had in my entire life, I was shocked, and even more shocked when my group of friends preferred these sandwiches over their western counterparts too, the food was insanely good, fresh and made to order, the meat is never frozen, everything is insanely clean, Moe was very kind to us through and through and believe it or not, the meat is real steak, you’re paying for quality food and ingredients, the poutine is insanely huge and insanely good too, I highly recommend this place, I could spend the day talking about my experience here if I had the time. TLDR; Good food, accurate to Middle East style subs/sandwiches, 100% legit quality and taste, great price, give this man your business.

I loved their vegetarian platter with tahini and fritters. Their chicken salad was also good that I got for my husband. Being a vegetarian I cannot find tasty vegetarian food everywhere so this was a nice one.

Ordered the vegan combo. 6 falafel, home made turnips, pickles, sesame sauce. Also had a large fatouch salad. Everything here is outstanding. There new Mediterranean breakfast is a must. Everything is home made. Even there delicious deserts are home-made. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.

Truly one of a kind restaurant as it is near impossible to find a halal sub joint. The signature subs are all packed with great flavors and are simply delicious. The guys know exactly how much to toast the bread which ensures that the sauces and juices are well contained within the sub and makes for a much less messy eating experience. Their house special avocado sauce is amazing and this is coming from someone who's not a fan of avocados. They even carry some baklava and other baked in-store cookies for folks looking to enjoy some light dessert with their subs. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff, seemed clean! However my roast beef sub was the worst I’ve ever had in my life! I’m certain that roast beef was there a few days, definitely didn’t taste fresh or good. They use mayonnaise like it’s an ingredient and not a condiment… who wants there Sandwich sopping in mayo?

First time trying this place through a friend, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a family owned business that has authentic Lebanese food. Tried their halal steak sub which was so flavorful without being greasy or fatty. And thanks to Moe for an amazing service! Definitely the go to spot for subs!!

This place is very awesome. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The store is always clean and the staff are wonderful. I come from the opposite end of the city just to eat here. The owner Hussein Jawad is very friendly and likes to talk to his customers and make them feel welcome. I would recommend this place to everyone with 5 stars with great satisfaction. Keep up the awesome work!

If you are looking for a place to have a halal sub sandwich or something different from a traditional lebanese cuisine, this is the place to go to. Tried the Philadelphia and the sub was packed with flavours and ingredients. Definitely coming back to try the other ones. Thank you :

The breakfast at Subtown is delicious. They have so much variety and the atmosphere inside feels like you are in Lebanon. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is vey friendly as well.
