Mr Kaak

Awesome little spot with great staff! Super happy to discover their kanefe is LOADED with cheese, something you don't really see at other spots in Ottawa. The owner's sister gave me some recommendations as well that were really tasty. Gonna come back for some of the non sweet items next week

Khaled owner is always in a great mood and happy to share his food with everyone. The food is top notch and highly recommended. I recently tried his meat pies which are fantastic make sure if you take them home to heat them in an oven! I live local to Mr. Kaak and visit often. 10/10 recommend.

Have been wanting to try this spot since it opened, heard amazing things but I live on the west side of town so it’s quiet a ride! Finally made it today and looks like I’ll be coming here more often.. very nice and kind owner.. gave me some Kunafa to try and it was super Dek up us, cheesy not too sweet.. I ordered the cheese and pastrami kaak very very good and the cheese, zatar and veggie which was very rich and flavourful! The dough is very thin rich with delicious! Kids got the cream cheese kaak and it was a hit!

Stopped by for the first time and the staff are amazing and so helpful in explaining the different desserts they have to someone who isn’t familiar with them. Everything is made fresh for the day! The Knefe is delicious and not too sweet which is great! If you love supporting local business, you should definitely give this play as try, it’s worth it!

My husband and I took a trip to Mr.Kaak today. We wanted to try both the savoury and sweet kaak, and boy were we happy we did! Going to Mr.Kaak was like taking a small trip to Lebanon. Everything I tasted there was so authentic and fresh. I highly recommend trying out a little bit of everything they have to offer.

The reviews for this place are so well deserved. Cozy little spot with wonderful and friendly service and most scrumptious pies!!! The owner is always kind and welcoming with a genuine warmth. Tried different pies as well as Kunafe and all are simply the best in the city…. Try it once and you will be hooked for sure!

We mostly enjoy kaak with knafeh or just cheese and basturma, we just wish they mak the meat pies fresh in the morning instead of the night before because to some people like me it makes a big difference. I also love the north Lebanon hallumi they make very accurately it’s a must try. It’s nothing like other hallumis made elsewhere in the world

I tried Kunafa, Kaak with Kunafa, Kaak with cheese, rice dessert halawet erriz and Znud elset all tasted great. Very friendly and generous owners.
