Doc Willoughby's Public House

If I lived in Kelowna, I would definitely be a regular here. The $5 food menu is insanely cheap, the food is really good, and the portion sizes are great - overall amazing value on the grub front. The drink selection is great with some killer drink specials throughout the week which is always a plus. The atmosphere is laid back, comfortable, and has a rustic pub feel which I really enjoy. Overall Doc's is a great place to have a drink, grab a bite, and hang out with friends. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Been there several times in the summer for their w/e breakfast special and we love to sit outside and watch the people, service and food were nothing but very good at the least considering they were typically super busy. We were in the area this past Sunday 01/28/18 and for obvious reasons went inside for food. It was brisk in there but not overly busy by any means. There were several empty tables, but we spotted the one we wanted and a couple seemingly trying to pay their bill, finally got up, gave us their table and they ended up having to flag down their server to pay the bill. After we sat down, the server walked by us several times and never even gave us a look. We finally got her attention and eventually made her way to our table, I said thanks and that a few more minutes we were getting ready to get up and leave as we thought no one was going to serve us. Then she gave us some attitude about not saying anything, do we still want menus and she'd clean the table. We said yes, we'll stay. We got that look and she walked away, and we just looked at each other and said, we're done, no need for this, it's not worth it. If she doesn't want to be here, then neither do we. We walked out, and I thanked her for the serving of attitude and got the stare, like this is all on you, I did nothing wrong and I think she said sorry... It'll be a while and warm again before we consider returning.

A fun place to see bands. I used to find their live music just to loud, it made it very hard to have a conversation but now it's perfect. Loud enough to dance but if you move a little away from the stage it's easy to hear another person. The food is decent pub style. The drinks are basic but with a fair price. I've gone several times and will go back. Expect a cover charge if there's live music. Washrooms are clean. Staff is friendly.

Nice place with some culture to the place. The drinks are about a normal place and the food options are decent. The food lacks the flavor but the prices good. There are very nice there and have some good vibes. Good place for older crowd and music played there is great.

Food is really great and at awesome prices: you won't find better food in town for this inexpensive. It's a great deal, and there's quite a few good vegetarian options which is nice. The veggie burger is the best I've had anywhere. However, the service is always terrible even when the restaurant is nearly empty. The servers stand around talking to each other instead of coming to the table, and the wait in between the very infrequent table visits is ridiculous. It took half an hour to get the bill during one visit. Yikes. Also, every time we go here there's new servers. Very frustrating. But we'll keep going because the food, prices, and location are great.
