Excellent breakfast, possibly the best we had in Seattle. I had the omelette with sausage and other good stuff and the.hash browns with a strawberry muffin amazing and refillable coffee, large portions. We took the ferry over to Bainbridge and out first stop was here, it was full but we put our names down and came back in 20. Lovely and friendly staff and great breakfast. Highly recommend. Parking: Parking on street or nearby in the malls.
The best breakfast ever. If you make it to Bainbridge island eat here. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a charming little restaurant with limited seating so you may need to wait a few minutes to sit down but totally worth it. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. We can’t wait to go backRecommended dishesBiscuits and Gravy, French Toast
Excellent food with a good selection of breakfast options. Big helpings, my wife got a side order of biscuits and gravy and it was just right. Only adult beverage is Mimosa’s. Very good attentive wait staff as well with indoor and outdoor dining options.
Service was exceptional. My dish was delicious. My boyfriend didn't really care for his huevos ranchero. My dish called the green machine was very tasty. The waffle was a little over cooked.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
My husband and I visited Seattle and Bainbridge Island for the first leg of our honeymoon. We had lunch at the Streamliner Diner, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so kind, attentive, and welcoming. The local diner atmosphere was so warm and lovely! It’s a beautiful, quaint space and the food was absolutely phenomenal. We had lunch, but their breakfast looked fantastic too! Their biscuits were delicious. My husband got the chicken club and I got the ABCLT and they were both delicious. If you’re in Bainbridge, this is well worth a stop! Will definitely be going back on our next trip.
Great food, great vibes. No wonder it stays so busy! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pretty small space, but cozy lively.
I really wanted to like Streamliner. Been to Bainbridge multiple times and finally decided to wait the 45 min for what we hoped would be worth the wait. We had a party of four and one would think that a restaurant with so much experience would time every plate accordingly. Unfortunately, three out of four arrived with a solid 5+ min delay for the fourth. Seems like an eternity when we’re accustomed to not take a bite of our own plates until everyone is served. Problem continued with the fourth plate extremely simple 2 eggs, bacon and a muffin arrived minus bacon add 5 add’l min for the bacon and a sly substitute of the muffin for a biscuit. Server didn’t mention the substituted biscuit until we questioned the switch. An undercooked Muffin, which apparently is a popular treat, was provided in a carry out bag as we exited the restaurant. In all, service was subpar. Food was bland and left us all pretty disappointed. Will certainly skip this restaurant in my future visits.
Absolutely the best omelette I have had in years! The biscuits are awesome, try the jelly! If there is a line to get in. Wait! You won't regret.Food: 5/5
Went to Streamliner for the first time with a friend visiting from out of town who loves breakfast food. We stood at the entrance of the diner for close to 10 min trying to get the attention of the staff to get put down for a waitlist or get seated. Kinda felt awkward for a bit as they wouldn’t really acknowledge us or anything. After a few minutes we sat ourselves at an open table and were waited on shortly after, which made up for the awkward wait beforehand. The food and service were excellent and the biscuits are to. die. FOR! Will definitely try to come back on a weekday when it’s less busy. Do yourself a favor and try the biscuits/breakfast here!
Very PNW aesthetic. Cozy, timeless. Love the open kitchen aspect. Sausage and pesto omelet is surprising, and filling. PNW Benedict is exactly what you would expect. Im not generally a big fan of smoked salmon overall but it IS popular in the area and this would satisfy fans. Also the poached egg was cooked PERFECTLY. The muffin of the day was Cranberry-Orange and while it was a little too crumbly it had a cinnamon sense to it that actually brought out the citrus. Honestly, our favorite thing was the hash browns, but that does not discount the food. Its just that these hash browns are better than most, and you can get hash browns anywhere.
