We came on a Saturday at lunch, and although there was about a 25-minute wait, the restaurant is right on the water. There are piers and pathways you can walk on and look at the beautiful view while waiting! They have plenty of outdoor seating that is all shaded and comfortable. They also have indoor seating and a bar if you prefer that! The staff was all very friendly and it didn't take our food too long to come out. The kids got two different coloring sheets which was a fun change. All of our food tasted excellent and were big portions!
Sat outside under a wonderful tree. The service was good, the food even better. I ordered the chicken sandwich. I have to say I rarely order chicken sandwiches, but this on was very good. The chicken was very tender the vegetables were fresh and the fries completed the meal. I also tasted the appetizer clams. Very good. If you want a place to look at the scenery and have a good meal this is the place.
I took my wife here, after her Arizona trip. So she could have a relaxing day before her work week. The restaurant has 3 parts. Nice bar, cozy dining area, and a beautiful heated outdoor patio. We sat outside and loved it. But, the service was lack luster. The hostesses acted like they didn't care. Our server, serve everyone but us. Forgot our drinks. Forgot our condiments "till the end". And my fries were not fresh and served cold. The plus was the Kale Salad. I highly recommend that. Delicious.
If you want to enjoy some decent food and beer with an insane view of the harbour at Bainbridge island, then you should definitely visit Doc's Marina Grill. We visited the place on a sunny day during weekend. Had to wait for half an hour to get a table outside. But the experience was well worthy of the wait. We ordered beer, fish & chips and seafood pasta. Loved the fish and chips. I will definitely visit this place during my next visit to Bainbridge.
I went to visit a friend on the island and she wanted to take me here since it had good views and food. The views were amazing sitting on the outdoor patio and the day was perfect cause the sun was finally out! Nice area to soak up the views that didn’t disappoint. Wish I took some pictures of the views. We both got fish and chips. They weren’t my favorite since they were very bland with not much flavor. Load it up with tartar sauce and they were just fine. The service was exceptional and so quick I couldn’t even believe it! The cucumber vodka Moscow mule was on point!
The staff were very nice. The clam chowder is worth a try and the service was quick. Definitely worth trying if you're visiting Bainbridge island. It comes with a good view too.
What a nice experience! The outdoor dining is great. You can either eat on the covered patio or an uncovered area which gets good shade coverage at dinner. Both would be good. Service is great. Shout out to our server Dylan T - you were awesome! There's a good lineup of drinks some local beer too and while the menu is kinda small, it's power packed with great options. I had the Linguine Al Fresco with salmon and it was so good. Pic posted. We dressed very casual, but you could easily dress nicer.
I wouldn't think that I would like butternut squash risotto $27 but it is something I want to try to cook at home now. The seattle cider berry rose is crisp and delicious. Everything I tried there was great. The portions are decent and there is ample seating inside. The prices are a bit high; if you want a small appetizer, entrée and a drink you'll spend about $60 pp. We can for dinner, so we could not see the view, so I'm sure it's worth it when you can actually see outside.
Beautiful dock view. We were one of the last few customers on Sunday night. We ordered the Doc's Beef Burger, Fish & chips and Chocolate cake. Since it was late, the fish wasn't fresh. They were sold out on the Creme Brulee and a few other items. Understandably. I will however visit again during regular hours for a better experience.
Our lunch was excellent. We ordered the spicy hummus it has a major kick, fried cod, Mac & cheese with crab, clam chowder and BBQ pork sandwich. The fried cod seemed to be more corn meal type breading versus beer battered which was a nice change up for me. The clam chowder was so flavorful and the Mac and cheese was equally great. Thank you for the great meal on our island trip.
