Stouffville Yoga Life is founded upon the idea that our bodies are the temple of our soul. Therefore we must utilize our intuition to nurture our bodies in a way that allows us to manifest our greatest possibilities and expression of love. I've traveled through much of North America and I make it a point to visit yoga studios as I travel. This is by far one of the best studios I have experienced. The teachers are highly trained and lead intelligent and fun classes. The space is fantastic, clean and I love the heated cork floors. The staff are warm and always welcoming. This studio actually has reception unlike other studios that make the teachers check you in. I highly recommend this studio for yoga, Pilates and their wellness services!
It will be hard to say enough positive things about Stouffville Yoga Life to do it justice! I have been taking yoga classes for many years in different places and have never had such a wonderful variety of excellent teachers, types and levels of classes, and in such a beautiful welcoming studio. I know after all these years I have found the perfect "yoga home" for me. All of the instructors are warm, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Their classes are consistently excellent, and through their cues and well planned sessions they reinforce one anothers' approach. As they explain what is happening inside the body, I am gaining so much more understanding of why we do what we do, and how to strengthen my body to properly and safely move. There is no competition and no judgement, a safe and comfortable place to reach our personal goals. I am so thankful to have Stouffville Yoga Life in my life!
Stouffville Yoga Life is by far my favourite yoga studio. As soon as you walk into the space you feel at peace. It is bright, beautiful and welcoming. Each instructor offers a unique approach to guiding your practice. They offer the perfect balance of restorative practices with classes that will leave you feeling powered up. I practice almost daily and have never been disappointed. The instructors will challenge you to develop your practice, and nudge you out of your comfort zone, while offering their unwavering support. If you are looking to try yoga out for the first time, or develop your practice as a more experienced yogi, I highly recommend this studio.
I have enjoyed yoga at this remarkable studio for almost two years now. There is fantastic variety in the range of classes offered. You can always find a class to satisfy whatever your mind and body may be calling on any given day. The owner, staff and instructors are always so pleasant, personable and accommodating. The studio itself is warm and inviting, and in short simply feels good for the soul!! There are a range of other services ie RMT, chiropractors etc on site, and unique workshops that combine to round out the studio’s wellness offerings. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend joining the studio.
This studio! The place I go to for strengthening, wellbeing and fun. As soon as you walk though the doors you feel you are in a safe, welcoming environment. The classes are varied and always fresh and the instructors are beyond compare - they keep themselves current, and share their knowledge with you so that you have an informed practice. I’m so grateful to have Stouffville Yoga Life in our town - it has truly enriched the community.
The Teachers at Stouffville Yoga Life are INCREDIBLE!! I have been practicing at this studio now for almost 6 months and it has been the most remarkable experience!! The studio is Clean, The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. There are so many classes to choose from. The staff at this studio really make a difference and will make you feel so at home!! I would HIGHLY recommend this studio!!
A phenomenal experience from the moment you step in the door. The staff is always so kind and always make you feel welcome. The classes are absolutely one-of-a-kind; you will never do the same class twice. The teachers are amazing at leading a class that is safe, fun, and always educational. There is a class for everyone! The wellness services are fantastic, you are in the hands of some great professionals. Definitely a place you want to visit, and a community you will love to be a part of!!!
I have been a member at Stouffville yoga life for a few years now. I needed to do some focused strengthening specifically for my lower body for the upcoming ski season. I booked a five session one on one training with Meghan Tuckey. It was life changing. Megan tailored all of the exercises specifically for my personal needs. She was patient, thorough, and she is an excellent instructor often giving cues to help me to remember what to focus on while doing them at home, as well as giving me written follow up guides. I cannot say enough about her ability to teach. Not only do I realize the strength I have built in these few short weeks, she has help me to overcome my fear of exercise limitations due to old injuries. I would highly recommend Meghan for these personal training sessions.
I love this yoga studio! There is a wide variety of classes to choose from to suit different levels; as well as massage, meditation, Reiki healing and extra workshops. The instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. And the building itself is beautifully done. Highly recommended whether you are new to Yoga like me or a seasoned practitioner.
Of all the studios I've been in, both here and in California, this one soars. The beauty of the place speaks to the underlying theme of the owners: that each person who walks through the front doors be served with support in for health in their body, mind and spirits. The teachers are all knowledgable, warm, receptive and happy in their work. The variety of yoga classes is amazing. The studio also offers many fine health practitioners: Chiropractors, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reflexology, Massage, Acupuncture, Psychotherapy and Meditation. Regular workshops on body awareness, meditation, healing, specific yoga practices such as dowel and work with the tension balls provide additional impact for everyone who wants to know how to live more joyfully with more health and positive mind states. The Best!
