We were very impressed with this Sushi restaurant. Outside doesn't say much but inside it was very well decorated. The service was outstanding, I give them an A+. The food was very good, nice presentation and the preparation was very fast, I give them an A. 99% recommended. The 1% remaining is that I would love to see more options on desert. Good value with what we paid, overall not expensive $$.
The food was really great here! Everything tasted so fresh. They use high quality ingredients. And the restaurant was very clean inside. The beef teriyaki was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. The sushi rolls were amazing
This hidden gem has the best All You Can Eat Sushi I've ever had. Exceptional selection which are creative and well presented, and incredible service make this place stand out even from even the best a la carte Sushi. The staff really do care about the customer's experience. I highly recommend the Hawaii, Volcano, Rainbow and at the time of this review: the softnest and most tender snapper I've ever had.
So mediocre for the price. Good quality fish, decent selection for the menu but I wouldn’t say it’s anything special. The fish was cut so insanely thin, it was basically transparent. No iPads like most all you can eat sushi places, but rather paper and pencil menus that you need to ask for. The place was packed in a Saturday night, so try to make a reservation if you can! No complains about the food, minor arrogance in the service. Nothing special, not dying to return. Miso soup was just broth and nori. Not bad.
I was so excited and this place was in my list but I think I will stick with the other sushi restaurant after the experience. Although service was really good and friendly, I’m not sure I will come back. Wrote down for 20 salmon sashimis but they only gave us 10, I thought the rule was only giving half of what we order, so for the next one I wrote 30 and received 11 :, they were also very thin small pieces, they probably should’d gave us 20 at the 1st order to save us time and their paper :. If you’re not sashimi addicts like us maybe it would be your favorite restaurant for sushi!
Actual review: 3.5/5. At $27.99/pax $29.99/pax on weekends & holidays, the All You Can Eat AYCE deal here is one of the cheapest you’ll be able to find in the GTA. Despite that, the sushis and dishes served here are of very reasonable quality. I liked some of their appetizers, such as the gyoza dumplings, fried scallop, shrimp tempura. For the teriyaki shrimp and teriyaki salmon, the quantities served for both of them seemed ridiculous that were both indicated as 1pc. However, since multiple orders could be placed, the “1pc” that looked and felt more like “1 bite” was able to be compensated. The sushis here were great, although not outstanding. Nevertheless, I appreciate the huge selection that they offer which helps in combating the “diminishing marginal returns” of having too much of a kind of sushi. For the hand roll, they do stuff them with a lot of rice, something which I am not a fan of but some people might be fine with it. For the desserts, they offer ice creams but the tempura banana was the crowning glory.
Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and of course the primary reason someone should come is here is for the delicious sushi. Weekdays are are cheaper and the menu has a a LOT of delicious things to choose from. Probably my fabo sushi place and I definitely see myself coming here.
I picked up lunch at this restaurant, after a swim. What you see is average fare; moderately priced, and sushi served warm from the just fried morsels of fried sweet potato tempura and avocado in one roll and shrimp tempura, avocado and eel on the next roll. When they ask you if you would like eel sauce for example, you should choose it. Be prepared to add in the notes section that you would like utensils, or soya sauce, wasabi and tempura sauce. This is an AYCE restaurant that screens patrons for temperature and observes COVID -19 protocol. I was considering the AYCE, but I am very old fashioned and I like my rolls looking extremely well defined by even cuts, or creative chef skills. I also like to feel fish that is cool on the tip of my tongue after it’s dipped in soya sauce. Since, my entire meal was warm from the miso soup to the sweet potato and avocado- I realized, this is a busy restaurant. Take-out The avocado could not be any more ripe! Some of the details like the lingering taste of dried frozen shrimp, or the smell of old cooking oil at the door might turn some discerning patrons away. I will have to try another maki roll in the future- to imagine catching some chilled fish after a cold swim. 3.7 points/ 5 The experience of your sushi chef sitting yards away is just not possible in post-quarantine or take-out/ curb side. This experience is something that adds to the quality of your dining experience; I am convinced that curb side just does not compare. While you will be content with the mediocrity of your meal; you might consider paying just a bit more, elsewhere. While I am just not dining in- right now, I am looking for meals that survive the trip home, in containers.
I have been coming here since they first opened. The owners and staff are super nice. Food is fresh and tasty. I recommend this place to our friends and they all love it. What a hidden gem! They should get a reward!
The greatest All You Can Eat Sushi I've ever tasted is at this hidden gem. Even the best a la carte sushi cannot compare to the exceptional assortment, inventive presentation, and outstanding service offered here. The employees genuinely care about the satisfaction of the clients. The Hawaii, Volcano, Rainbow, and, as of the time of this review, the softest and most sensitive snapper I've ever tasted, come highly recommended.
