Excellent spot with no frills…Very well staffed, ample parking, and a wonderful selection. The iconic yellow house brand is a must and the produce looked great

Excellent prices, fresh food as in expiration date is accurate and trustworthy. The fresh fruits and vegetables are a bit weak because the produce is either good quality of terrible. Yet the meat, dairy, snacks and packaged goods are all tremendous. So I would tell anyone looking to shop for groceries in Castlegar to make No Frills your choice; hands down!

Usually has everything I need at more reasonable prices than other stores. The quality is usually better than you think it will be depending on the product. Their meat has gotten a lot better than it was with no funny after taste. The new Cosmic Crisp apples are to die for: as good as honey crisp without the awful high price. They are insanely good.

Big store with a lot of selection. Was on the hunt for No Frills merch and was able to score a couple cooler bags, and a lunch box

Store very dirty.  I  wiped the handle or a basket....wipe came back Black! Obviously they don't clean the baskets anymore.  Very unsanitary.  Disappointing

Good selection of organic produce, and a whole aisle dedicated to natural and organic foods!

I like No Frills because there are things there you just can't buy at Walmart.

A well-stocked store with great options.  Their produce is wonderful - I bought a bag-salad and ate it a week after purchasing, and was surprised to find everything as fresh as the day I bought it.  The prices, in general, are surprisingly low.  I'm from Castlegar but was in Calgary for a few years, and found Castlegar's prices to be excellent, even double-checking a few items to make sure the price really was that low.  The staff is doing the best they can considering the situation despite some "disgruntled customers" who should take themselves elsewhere if they can't find anything nice to say to the hardworking folk, and I find the long checkout line usually moves pretty fast.  I haven't had any issues getting assistance when I need it as there's usually 3 or 4 employees on the floor.
