Safeway Castlegar

A lady behind me at the checkout was purchasing a few bags of discounted bananas. She was so cheerful and, when I mentioned that I wanted to go back to get some, she gave me a bag of hers that she had just paid for. I offered her the money but she wouldn’t take it. Turns out, she’s an employee at Safeway. I believe her name was Loretta. I’m extremely grateful and touched by her kindness and generosity. Thank you, Loretta! Enjoy your smoothies.

Thank you, clean well stocked shop with very friendly helpful staff. First time on this trip through western Canada we purchased food to go from a shop. The deli section was exceptionally good. Thank you all

Been going to this safeway for over 10 years. I was assisted with two inquiries by a tall staff member named Jeremy. The level of service he provided was exceptional. This review is purely a shout out to Jeremy.

Lots of great savings on many excellent items. The only issue here is the service. Nothing to write home about.

Love my local Safeway! The staff are always helpful and the produce and meat selections are fantastic!
