We opened our doors in Vancouver 2007, with the endorsement of professional basketball athlete Steve Nash. In-line with his vision of promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle for all, we continue to redefine the standard gym experience as BC’s largest fitness provider with 19 clubs and growing.

Nice spacious facility. Lot's of weight and equipment. Great gym for anybody who transits or lives in the area!
Don’t enroll here because there are no enough equipment, I was waiting for more then 20 minutes and ask to reception why there are no dumbbell then she replied this is public gym so nothing will perfect here, she told me that it’s public gym but here they charge 25 $ per month + 60-100 $ for maintenance for empty dumbbells rack. World’s worst customer service as well
Fitness World is a fantastic place to achieve your fitness goals. From the selection of great equipments to the knowledgeable and friendly staff, this gym has everything you need to get in shape. However, my experience was taken to the next level thanks to my personal trainer, Kym. She was attentive, motivational, and had a wealth of knowledge when it came to exercise and nutrition. She created personalized workout plans that pushed me to my limits while also making sure I stayed safe and injury-free. Kym made my gym experience unforgettable, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get fit at Fitness World.
Amazing facility and workers, this gym has everything to maximize a workout. The staff go above and beyond to make the experience great, especially kym. She greets everyone with a positive attitude/smile and is willing to help anyone with whatever issue they have. She works hard to ensure everyone who uses this facility enters and leaves happy after their workout. She treats every member equally and never puts one person over the next, she helps anyone and everyone she can.
My PT Kateryna has been wonderful in helping me with reaching my fitness goals. She is supportive, passionate, and an excellent motivator. I would highly recommend her as a PT at Fitness World. The gym itself is quite busy and there isn’t a lot of space for workouts and people are often waiting for machines.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. My personal trainer was Kym and she did an excellent job correcting my DL form and giving additional advice on how to improve my overall back strength. The gym is usually very busy, but it's still probably best bang for buck available in this area.
Fitness world is the perfect gym during all the year, the staff helps you every time you need it. They offer a lot of options, the personal trainer are really good. I had an amazing experience with Kateryna, she taught me a lot of things and I’m feeling a lot better with my self now. I recommend it!
Majority of the staff here are not friendly or eager to help. I’m never greeted when I come in and upon asking any questions, the staff act annoyed and don’t want to leave the desk. I even did a group class and the trainer didn’t even introduce himself, and offered no words of encouragement the duration of the entire class. This location screams lazy, unmotivated, unhelpful staff. Time to hire people who want to be there Fitness World. The other reviews should be motivation to do better since clearly you guys are doing multiple things wrong at this location.
No security in the underground parking. tried several times to go there for 5am and the parkas is loaded with homeless scoping out cars, and shady people in cars scoping things out. I only use it on weekends after 9am. I unfortunately had to upgrade my membership and now use the North van location for my weekly workouts by my office. The building needs to post a security guard in the gym parking by the ramp or I’ll never go there early during the week.
I came here a couple days ago and my experience was exceptional. I really recommend Martin as a trainer, he was very kind and patient as I am just starting off. He was incredibly attentive, considering I had plenty of questions. 10/10 would recommend Martin to everyone and I will definitely come again.
