Kim the owner is very unprofessional. The price is not reflective of the service. Kitchen is awful and always dirty. Roof is leaking and buckets throughout hallways to catch the water. Carpet is filthy. Rooms smell weird. No water pressure in showers and I wore slippers to bathe. Overall horrible experience. Would not stay again or recommend.
I was in town for work for about a week and found this neat little place with a kitchenette. Having a full sized fridge and sink was very helpful. The price is incredibly reasonable compared to other places in Stettler. The room was very clean, and Kimberly and her staff really made me feel welcome and at home. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re passing by!
My husband and I have spent the past 2 1/2 months in Stettler for work and were fortunate to find an apartment to rent at the Stettler Hotel. It’s been perfect. Our suite is 2 bedroom with 1 1/2 baths, a full kitchen with huge fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, all dishes, pots/pans, everything. The suite is clean, bright and quiet, with cable and excellent wifi. Kim is a great hostess—very friendly, welcoming and quick to address concerns, which we didn’t have. The same can be said for every member of her staff we met. The bar downstairs is not loud—in fact the only noise we really heard in the hallway from the bar was Kim playing the piano at different times of day, which was awesome. Parking was ample and secure. And our dog stayed free of charge—unheard of in a hotel. We would highly recommend the Stettler Hotel, and would happily stay here again.
Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel smelled clean and the room itself was clean and beds were comfortable or the star rating would be lower. However, when in a room on the top floor facing south during a heat wave a floor fan and a 1 square foot window definitely isn't good enough. We could feel the temperature rise as we ascended the stairs and it even got hotter as we walked the hallway to the far end. There was no way to cool off the room so we suffered horribly both nights. We would have changed hotels but due to the amount of activities going on in Stettler the weekend we were there, there was not another place to be found.
Kimberly is an amazing hostess. The room was very quiet, no noise from anywhere but the street. Love the history! Bed and pillows were comfy and the room was warm but cooled down very quickly. It was a small room, but had everything I needed. Very clean! My only recommendation would be a blackout curtain for summer time, as the blinds were a little old and didn't block the evening light.
