I am a frequent customer at this Staples location, regularly coming in to print color menus for my restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. The staff assisting with the custom print lacked basic skills and common sense. He printed the file without the header and footer, despite my clear instructions to use a larger paper and cut down the excess.nnAdditionally, I noticed a significant lack of staff on the floor to assist with questions. There were only two staff members at the custom print solutions area and a few in Service Ontario. This lack of available staff made it difficult to get the help I needed.nnOverall, I was dissatisfied with today's service.
An associate named Jay went above and beyond to assist my son and I in purchasing a gaming chair and made the experience smooth and comfortable. I hope he's recognized and retained by the company because he's a gem
I went to print a certificate & forgot my USB, I went back 1 hour later the girl told me she can't fi d it, she said maybe she gave it to someone else, I said what? You just give someone else's information away? I can't believe it, stupid people brain dead! Now someone has my information. I wish I could sue them! I will never spend another $1 at staples, very unprofessional service & people work here!
Copier Money GrabnnThis location had been my goto place to get copies, prints and supplies but after running into copier issues and interacting with store manager Wesley first time, I won't recommend this business.nnIssuenCopier had issues, some prints only had half pages printed and it was cutting off info. I looked around, ask for help and store person was experimenting with the settings in front of me, printed a few pages to test settings and finally was able to print.nnPushback on FeedbacknI ended up paying 12-13 bucks for 7-8 prints. I saw store manager, approached him and told him that my feedback is if he could add info about optimization close to printer, and that scanner is missing half page, to that Mr. Wesley responded that machine works and that I don't know how to use them, that I am the only one who ever had issue While I remember last time when I was taking prints, someone had issues. Wesley's whole body language was disdainful as if he has come across something repugnant and immediately made me feel foolish to even approach him and give a customer feedback. I didn't respond to gaslighting Continuously telling me that I don't know how to use a copier and just let him know that I'll probably leave him a google review.nnI did tell him that if one person is giving you feedback meaning 100 out there who chose not to, and that store managers are also generally not available like this.. Bueno..nnLearningsnIt's these moments when you win or lose customers and that its very important to choose your store managers and public facing team for customer retentions, or at least train them. I felt that staff was better trained than the store manager in customer facing scenarios.nnAlso while I calmly left, I realized that more than the actual malfunction of the machine it's the bad interaction that turns a loyal customer take to google reviews and give a single star review. I suppose you literally have to push a loyal customer off the cliff to do that.nnI should have just stopped at TPL close by where copies take time but the staff actually helps you with the whole process.nn------------- Edit----------------nI am going through reviews and seems like a lot of people had issues with scanner here.. So when Mr. Wesley told me I am the only one complaining, that wasn't true... Great!!
All the other staff seem super friendly but there was one guy name Ahnaf doesn’t seem that he’s happy to assist customers because he was busy talking to his female co worker. So he didn’t even reply to greetings plus didn’t looked happy to assist.
