Needed an emergency upholstery cleaning after the dog got into a stick of butter and vomited all over the couch. I cleaned as best as I could but the couche still smelled like vomit. Called Stanley Steemer and they were able to come out a few hours later. They employees were very friendly and even hosed the porch off where my dog had gotten sick.

Bait and Switch: Price quoted over the phone was 150 dollars less than what the workmen showed on their ipad when they arrived. I had taken the day off from work and needed it done. Ridiculous.

The first time Stanley came out, it was pretty good; they spent a decent amount of time in each room and the carpets took the allotted 12-24 hrs to dry. They did, however, use my water to do their work (Pristine Clean used their own supply), and repeatedly failed to wear booties in the house, tracking mud throughout. The second time they came out, not only did they achieve both negatives again, they also spent about 30 minutes total for 3 rooms (including set-up time), and the carpets were bone dry in less than 4 hours. It was a complete rush job. I thought it was because we were the last appointment of the day, but after reading the reviews here, I doubt that is the case. After we get our refund I will not be using them again. With the 3 room special they are cheaper than Pristine but not nearly as thorough.
