I stayed here during the last week of August, 2017. I travel frequently for work and stay in many various motels. This motel is easily the cleanest and friendliest place I've yet stayed in in Michigan. Seriously, I liked it better than the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island! The Standish Motel is a diamond in the rough.

Just seemed cheap. Very little room to move around. A/C didn't seem to work very well. Shower tile looked nice.

The rooms were mostly clean. The tv remote didn't look like it has been cleaned in weeks though. Also found a bug in the bathroom. Likely came in through the air conditioner though. Would stay again, but would consider other options first.

Clean, however really small barhroom. Also there rates have gone up considerably in the last few years so not the value it used to be. Still a nice little place thats fine in a pinch
