Really pretty park with nice facilities. I walked around a bit stretch my legs. Did a little birdwatching. Wish I had my bike the trails look really good. Peaceful spot!
Love this park, the benches have lots of spaces between so families aren't tripping over one another. Everyone there was quiet and respectful of the other guests and the park is huge with lots of things to see while walking around. Good for hikes, fishing, birdwatching, nature, people watching, even disc golf if that's your thing. It does not allow swimming or boating since it a reservoir. That's also a good thing as it means less people, trash and rude boaters who don't care about quiet and nature. All around one of my favorite parks in this area.
This is a wonderful community park. I go for the disc golf, but there are so many other great activities.
I want this place to be a great stop just outside Novato, and in a lot of ways it is. The playgrounds, picnic grounds, hiking trails, and scenery are all nice. However, the location next to a smelly farm, constant Canada geese, and parking fees all detract from the experience. It’s best experienced as a stop on a bike ride or extended hike from Novato, at least in my opinion.
It was just a dream to be outdoor in this amazing place tgere whole family had sp much fun. So clean, nice and friendly staff, so peaceful, a place to visit with kids of all ages.
Great park, the disc golf course is awesome. Great steep, lots of varied tight shots. Being water, and a spotter for the first shots. Has been mowed, still some tall grass around. Take a right at the roll booth, drive as far as you can and park, then walk out past the bike course.
This was a cycling meet place. It's not a lake to get in the water. It's not a camping place. I will only return if we meet here again for another cycling event. Restrooms were decent, lawn was good to sit and relax. That's about it.
Cool park, amazing views. Costs $10 to get in except on the first Saturday of the month. Has a disc golf course that is pretty woodsy so wear long pants and good shoes that you can get muddy if need be.
Pleasing landscape, easy trail, great place to go for a short hike during spring or autumn when it's not too hot.
It has been upgraded over the years. It now has a great play area. Hammocks for lounging. A zip line. Picnic tables in the shade.
