St. Vincent de Paul Society of Crook County is a non-profit, 501c3 company.
This conference was established January 18, 1977 in Prineville, OR and has
been an integral part of caring for the residents of Crook County for 36 years.
Active Volunteers work to ensure that all who seek our help receive the assistance
they need. We offer one-on-one consultations to understand the individual's
concerns and needs and assistance that can be in the form of a food box,
emergency shelter or utility aid. SVdP may make referrals to other programs or
resources that can assist the individual or family.
The mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is to serve the poor and needy
no matter their color, creed or circumstance. We assist the poor and those in
need of consolation, seeking out and utilizing every resource available to us.
Being mindful of the sanctity and dignity of all, any charitable work that
advances those goals is within the mission of the Society.
We are proud to announce that the SVdP Donation Center is an E-Cycle Waste
Management entity. We appreciate donations of working and non-working
electronic items. We accept new and used household items for re-sale. Any clothing that is not of re-sale value is also processed to re-cycle.These items can be made into rags or sent to Third
World Countries for re-use. All of these donations support our Social Service programs
