Story

St. John’s is a faith community made up of people at every age and stage of life who are on a spiritual journey in search of meaning and value and purpose. As followers of Jesus, we are discovering a way of life that is nurturing and challenging, relevant and timeless.
No matter who you are or what you believe, you are welcome in our inclusive community of faith!

"St. John's is a member of the United Church of Canada & an important community gathering place for residents of Deep Cove and surrounding areas of North Saanich regardless of religious or spiritual beliefs. No matter your age, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, beliefs or physical or mental handicaps, everyone is welcome here. The Church buildings & grounds are a community base for: Jazz & Celtic Vespers supporting local musicians: family, youth & children's programs; weddings, celebrations of life & interments; community meetings; refugees initiative; depression support group; eco-justice & First Nation engagement groups; thrift shop, community fairs & farmer markets; Kid's Work School of Arts; yoga & a local folk music group."
