The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I love the emphasis on the family.....all the extra activities and opportunities for children and youth. I like the sense of community, as everyone serves others by teaching classes, caring for children, leading singing, doing cleaning, etc. You get to know one another through service. I appreciate the standards - in language, dress, and behaviour. Everyone tries to be the best they can be, remembering who they are and what they stand for. Each person has the agency to choose what they believe, and I love these people for the choices they make every day - not just on Sundays. It just feels like the right place to be. And the real beauty of it - while on vacation, you feel the same camaraderie at every other LDS chapel you attend.

I love going to church here! I live nearby and on sunny days, I love to walk to church with my family. The church is on the edge of our subdivision, next to rolling farm land, with picturesque Mt. Tzouhalem in the background. The best part of going to church is the way it makes me feel. It is one big family. Our church teaches us how to find peace and happiness as we strive to follow the teachings of the Jesus Christ. One of our favourite traditions is to attend and participate in the annual nativity pageant.
