St Croix Tire & Auto

I brought my car into this shop for new tires before the snow and to replace a whole head light assembly. At first they did a great job. They told me I had to get my lower ball joints replaced before they do my alignment. So I didn’t think much of it. So when I had the money to get the ball joints done, I brought my car back on a Friday. I got it back on the same day. Then when I picked it back up I started to hear a new noise from my car. Which my car wasn’t doing it before I had dropped it off. So I dropped the car off on a Monday after I got back into town. I told them what I noticed and have them look at it. They called me back saying I needed new breaks, roaders, shoes and a hardware kit. I just replaced all of those this past summer. So they wanted to charge me like 500 dollars. So I told them not to do it and get a second look at my car from L&C. When I had L&C looked at my car, the owner stated to me, just needed break pads. My roaders and shoes are like new, since the owner just replaced them within the last six months. I will never go back here. I didn’t have any grinding in my car before I dropped the car off. I am very disgusted with this business.

Well I was a long ways from home camping near the St. Croix. Driving along, my water pump decides to blow, not knowing the area I just pulled in hoping they could fix me up. A few minutes later he had the part and they began the work about and hour and a half later I was back on the road. Great job guy's. Friendly crew as well.

Always been great! Until i spoke with RICK! My car was leaking antifreeze a few months back. They put a pressure test on the motor to find out where it was coming from. They told me it was coming from upper radiator hose. You think i would of spotted that? So they double clamped it. Well a week or so went by i started smelling the same smell. I admit i should of brought it in earlier but my dad died mom almost died. Lots of other stress. U know life.bi thought there wouldn't be a problem cuz i thought highly of them and knew auto shop had a 1 year warranty on there work. He told me he would look at it. That means if it's not the hose clamp Ur paying. I called when i got home to speak to speak to the manager and he hung up on me! I would not use this auto shop. They do not back up warrantys!!

Had a great experience here recently when we needed a new battery. Owners seem to care for their customers and have their interests in mind more than their own. Speedy service.

I dropped my 96 f150 in for new leafspring brackets on the rear end (both sides) they said it was first on the list on the next day. 3 1/2 hours later they called me up and im half expecting bad news and they told me the job was done and they bleed my brakes and i spent less then $650!!!!! They are great mechanics and awsome guys too!!!! Super friendly and clean shop!!!!! Would recommend these guys to ANYONE!!
