I stopped to get deli items. I ask the very rude deli worker for the ham that was on sale not the bone in ham. She proceeded to tell me that all the ham was on sale. There were two signs on two different hams that were on sale. Then she put the sticker over the opening of the bag. She should be reprimanded. Sure she did it on purpose. I’d like to shop there more because I detest Walmart. But I’m not sure if I will or not.

MarketPlace is such a mixed bag. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff - inconsistent food quality/availability. When entering or checking out, there’s always a smile and someone to help bag. As for food? You better be checking expiration dates on everything you want and hope they have what you need. Out of the 20 times we’ve been there, about 3 of those trips had some type of expired food that we purchased. For food availability, in our case it’s just hit or miss with the essentials. The floor staff are great, maybe there’s something wrong with whoever is running food logistics? I’m not sure. Either way, even with the limited options in St. Croix Falls, we are going to start avoiding this place until they got on the expiration issues they’ve been having with food and consistencies with their products.

Excellent grocery store and everything you may possibly need, plus a liquor store attached.nnPicked up chicken for the BBQ grill , legs, and thighs. $.99 per pound , super cheap , 4 big packs of chicken for all of $12 , sweet.nnGreat stop, for sure, highly recommended , and great customer service.nnLiquor store rocks, too.

This is not an overall shout out for the store -- they seem to be eliminating many of my staples from the natural foods section. :^ It is a thank you to two staff -- Nancy and Nancy. I picked up an item with a sign that said it was on sale, but when I rang it up at self-checkout the regular price came up. Nancy the person at self-checkout and Nancy the manager on duty worked patiently to figure out the problem and honored the price I thought I was paying. So patient, kind and professional in the process. Thank you!

The produce department consistently offers high quality produce! Always clean and well stocked/faced, often carrying seasonal local offerings and exciting specialty items. Haven't been disappointed yet!nI was a produce buyer for many years I can be picky , and I love that I don't waste time having to sort through low quality product to find what I need. THANK YOU!!!
