Everything was better than I expected. The service, the selection, the overall experience. Atmosphere wasn't awful, would have been nice to have lights outside to see the landscaping, otherwise a stellar dinner! I recommend the duck with a glass of red wine.
The atmosphere here is amazing! From the host to the dessert tray! When you order steak, it is delivered to your table by someone in a heavy, brown leather apron. So cool... Steaks are amazing! Definitely go, definitely make reservations. Love The Dalles House!
This was our first visit to Dalles House and we were not disappointed! The ambiance, the music, the staff, and oh my the food! Everything was more than I was expecting. Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic! We will be back; it’ll probably be a new tradition to come from the cities. I love the classic supper club vibe and the decor is stunning. Sparkly ceilings, retro sconces, beautiful wallpaper, and those wine velvet chairs! The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and especially our server Christian, he gave us some really nice recommendations. The food was unique, fresh, and delicious! Do not miss out on this fabulous place! Oh, and try the fun drinks too.
From the moment I walked in the door I was so impressed! The host on a Saturday night was a tall man, so charismatic— so good at his job!! He made the experience magical— we had a fabulous server and everything we tried was a serious 10/10!! We started with calamari best calamari I’ve ever had, finished with salads, delicious pop overs, a ribeye cooked to perfection paired with deep fried jumbo shrimp and a side of mushrooms for my steak. Absolutely divine dining at the Dallas House on a Saturday night!
Honestly the best food I’ve had in recent history! We went there 3 times in 2 days. The staff is so enthusiastic and joyful! The host Ross is super fun and a great singer for birthdays. The second waiter Cam was awesome and super quick, he was fun and always on top of it. Our waiter Dorothy was super awesome and extremely nice and knowledgeable. I will come here again if I ever get back in this area.
