Spring Taxi

Leaving a food establishment and we were looking for a cab to get home. The cab driver of cab 852 offered us a ride and we took it. Seemed like a pretty nice guy till we got home. I said "Debit" and he said he didn't have a debit machine. I was not informed of this when we entered the cab or I wouldn't have gotten in the cab. Luckily I had cash inside and went in to get it. When I told him I had cash inside he huffed rudely like he thought I wasn't gonna pay him. When I came back out I handed him a 20 for a 7.50$ fair and he looked at me. I said " And change." and he pulled out a wad of bills and handed me a 10. It already felt like I was pulling teeth so I dismissed the 3.50 that I would have originally given him as a tip if he hadn't been rude and assuming. Never again would I use Spring Taxi.

Most horrible ever. Requested cab at 12:25pm today. They stated they would have a cab to us in 15-20 minutes. It's an hour and a half later and no cab. When I call, they hang up on me. I've called 15 times or more. Terrible humans.

From reading the reviews I must have been one of the few with a positive experience. I ordered a wheelchair transport through Handi-Helper (I’d used them before), set a time and confirmed the fixed price. A Spring Taxi wheelchair transport (surprise) showed up on time after phoning me on my cell. The helpful driver loaded my wife and her wheelchair into the van, strapped the chair in and drove carefully at moderate speeds across town from the hospital to our house. He honoured the dispatcher’s quote without question, and offered to help my wife into the house. He said to call again and he would be pleased to “serve us”. I don’t know the relationship between Handi-Helper and Spring. The driver said that Handi-Helper had phoned him because Handi was saturated and could not make a pick-up at the time promised. No drama.

I called once they never sent a taxi I called back he said he would send one and I waited over an hour the taxi never came and the guy on the phone was a dick

I called for a taxi and very quickly got a confirmation that the taxi was outside. It wasn't. I waited 5minutes or so and called back, the operator said the taxi was there but I wasn't. I clarified that the taxi was sent to the right address, then the operator said the taxi was at the other enterance. Guess what, there is no other entrance! Got passed to the taxi driver himself who was very rude and yelled at me, basically called me a liar. I asked to cancel the taxi but 10 minutes later received a text that the taxi would be there in 2 minutes. What? Finally I called AGAIN to cancel the taxi out of consideration. Very disappointed in the rudeness and lack of organization of this service. I reccomend Duffy or Unicity instead.
