Sportsman & Ski Haus

We went here on several occasions first to rent skis and snowboards. That was a good experience. Very knowledgeable stuff. They were also happy to work with European sizes as well. They tested the equipment, they get it all prepped up. Do note that the amount of helmets seems in a less Surplus than the other equipment, so perhaps going a bit earlier in the day is fine and then the overall equipment you can purchase here is very extensive. I do say it's a bit on the pricier side for some items but overall it's very good

Really nice sporting goods store. Well organized and maintained. Displays very well kept. Prices are very steep! Bear spray is the most expensive I’ve seen anywhere.

Helpful with ski & board rentals, waxing, tuning etc. As a heads up get there early because it gets crazy busy. Better yet call ahead and reserve stuff if you already know what you need.nnThe store is well stoked and has every type of clothing for every type of sport plus equipment for it too. GO PLAY PEEPS

A few years ago I purchased all new gear from The Sportsman: skis, boots, poles, helmet, you name, all the way down to my socks. Recently, I noticed half the clip mechanism for my helmet was missing. Today I finally got around to taking my nonfunctional helmet to The Sportsman in Whitefish where the delightful and determined Kerrie helped me locate the necessary piece and restored my helmet back to working order, better than new actually. I’m thrilled. Thank you Kerrie!

Awesome place to shop for most outdoor stuff and they have a good variety of clothing. The employees that I have had contact with are very professional and friendly.
