It's an awesome place for sports lovers. It is organized, colorfuly decorated and spacious with two floors. The location is equipped with all sorts of brands and having lots of options to choose from. Clothing and shoes are mostly in lower levels, while bikes and other sports equipment are on the upper floor. This well lit, well stocked location also has very friendly and welcoming staff who go above and beyond to help customers. A must check in for all sport enthusiasts.
I brought my skis to the service shop for binding adjustment and minor services. They worked with speed, care, and asked all the right questions to meet my needs. I feel much more prepared to take on the ski slopes with the help of the service shop. I’ll definitely be back for their services again in the future.nnTeddy was especially helpful, kind, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure my ski bindings were properly adjusted, and that the right service was completed on my skis. Truly an expert in his craft and an all-star contributor to the service shop
Sportchek responded to my review saying that they’re sorry about my experience and that they’ll communicate the review to appropriate people, but offered absolutely no assistance with my situation. That’s how you know the company is not looking help customers/fix issues in their process.nnFriend order me a yeti mug online for in store pick up. After I got home and opened the package, I noticed that there was a deep scratch and dent on the mug. I Checked online to see if they have more of the mug at this location, but that exact item was sold out at this location. I Called the store and spoke to a manager, he wasn’t very helpful, all he had to say was that had I opened the package and looked when I picked up the item from the locker they would have returned it, but since I’ve taken it home they’d need the receipt, and all they would do is return the item once I acquire the receipt from my friend. Getting the receipt is a bit of inconvenience to me since this was a present, but I understand why they want it.nI’m very disappointed that they didn’t check the merchandise while putting together the order and for the manager not to apologize for giving me damaged merchandise, and for not doing more to make sure I can get the undamaged item after I informed that the item was damaged.
I just wanted to say that one of the workers saw me juggling my two little kids and noticed that my shoe lace was untied which I didn’t see as I was holding my baby, and had the kindness to bend down and tie it for me. I don’t feel like these acts of kindness exist in our world very much anymore and it really meant a lot to this mom just trying to buy her kid a new jacket! I wish I got this man’s name, but I feel like he may be a manager. Anyway, I had multiple workers ask me if I needed help and I found them all very helpful. Was able to buy my kid a new pair of boots and a jacket at a very reasonable price. Thank you very much to this gentleman for helping me out and being so kind!
Great looking store with everything you could want or need for the sports enthusiast!nI hadn’t been to this location in a while and it was a really great experience walking through it. Two floors with all your favourite brands of sports equipment, and clothing. Bottom floor was clothing with a great shoe section organized well. Second floor accessible by elevator or escalator had all kinds of outdoor equipment. It was great to see a large YETI selection. Store was colorful, well lit, clean and staff were available and approachable. This was a really nicely merchandised space for the size of it. I enjoyed walking through it and was engaged by a staff member on the second floor asking if I needed any help which was nice. I would definitely return to this location for anything I needed.
