Speedy Auto Service Oakville

John and his staff have provided me with EXCELLENT service for over 5 years!! I would make the trip from downtown Toronto to Oakville just to have him take care of my car! Their service is fast, friendly and always with the greatest value for customers in mind. My first experience with John was just driving into Speedy one day off the street to see about an exhaust issue that he and his staff ended up quickly fixing; saving me hundreds of dollars in the process. I have been an extremely satisfied client ever since and would highly recommend his shop's services. I don't normally bother writing reviews on-line but felt compelled to write a review commending John and his staff on the great work they have done on my car over the last 5 years. As someone who was commuting to work from Toronto to Woodstock five to six days a week for over three and a half years I put a lot kilometres on my vehicle (over 525,000 and still counting!!). John and his staff have always given me great advice on exactly what needs to be done and what might need attention in the future to avert more costly major repairs. I have been happy to trust my car's health and my safety on the road to John and his staff for the past 5 years and over a quarter of a million kilometres. Tyler Davies

Please don't make the same mistake I did. DO NOT GO HERE! Called ahead of time and got a quote for them to change a part of my car. Quote was for $120, but they said it could be slightly higher or lower. I showed up there and asked them to give me the exact quote before they started work on my car. Walked down the road to grab a beer at a bar. Came back after 2 hours and they were already done and charged me $470! I understand it could've been SLIGHTLY higher or lower, but nearly 4 times the price? Please. Also, they didn't even call me with the actual figure before they started work on my car like I asked them to do before. The quote I was getting at my dealership was $200 (and that's a dealership!) Don't go here. They'll rip you off big time.

Review is based on JUST THIS SPEEDY LOCATION. I had my muffler replaced. With labour and accessories it cost me over $400. It lasted for 3-years. Went back to this location cause it had a "life time warranty." They just gave me the run around. They said they didn't have record of it and that I have to produce the original invoice, etc. After searching and finding the invoice, I called the location back advising them that I have the receipt. Even after producing that they said they can't confirm that it has a warranty...even though I was told exactly that when I got it serviced. They said I have to wait a week to talk to some manager/boss to see if it's maybe warrantied. After escalating this through Speedy I was able to get this matter resolved. They sent me to their corporate location at 844 Dundas Street East in Mississauga. I dealt with the manager Taz who was more than helpful. They resolved the matter within an hour, all under their warranty. They are the place to go to.

RIP OFF All I can tell you ... I went there to have him look at my exhaust (daughter's Car) because a bracket holding the exhaust was visibly broken. His 2 estimates after inspection were over $1100 and over $700. I decided to go down the road to Midas..... repair was done for $25.00!! Midas showed me the repair and confidently told me that it was as good as new. DO NOT HAVE ANY WORK done THERE! Midas questioned whether oil filter was actually changed and indicated other fluid levels and tire pressure were not check and Midas needed adjustment of tire pressure and topped up fluids.

John and his staff have always been professional and accurate. When they give you an estimate it is exact in terms of cost and timeline. They always find you a deal if it is possible and will suggest things that would need to be done soon but would be more cost effective to do now because of the existing repair they are working on. I would and do recommend them in a heartbeat.
