My husband and I went to Miraval for a 3 day getaway and had a very relaxing stay. ALL of the staff were very welcoming and made sure that our experience was exceptional. Those that stood out were Bryan at the valet, Sarah and Emily in the spa, as well as Will and Simon for activities. They do a very good job of helping you coordinate your experience prior to your stay, but if you are new to this type of getaway like we were and didn't really know what to expect, their Experience Planners were helpful in guiding you once you arrived. The food was delicious with a variety of plant-based options as well, and the rooms were spacious. The device-free zones were exactly what we needed during our stay. I will definitely go back. Make sure you book the Manuka Honey Facial. It was AMAZING!!!
I have been in the healing and wellness world for almost 25 years and was not only impressed by the quality of the experience at Miraval but will return again and again to work with the healers they have, take classes and enjoy a sense of deep relaxation that they have perfected in their resort. The food is also by far some of the best spa hotel food I have ever had, it was healthy, fresh and made with creativity and intention. I am very grateful for my time and Miraval and cannot wait to return! Do yourself a favor, make sure to do the Vibrational Sound healing and also the Transformational Thai massage with Scot V. Relaxed, renewed and so happy! Food & drinks: Amazing food!
Hospitality at its finest. I live locally and bought a day pass with a friend to have a relaxing spa day together. From the moment we pulled into the valet - every single member of the Miraval team was eager to help, and happy to be there. Our day was seamless from start to finish. Michael was an incredible guide on our hike. We hiked a place we had been to many times before since we live locally, but the experience with Michael was completely different and very educational, it felt like a treat. The facilities were spotless - and there was someone at any point in your day providing you towels, turning on hot tubs etc. I am celiac, and my friend has very severe food allergies. Everything was perfectly labeled, and food was made specifically so we could eat it. Food and drink were 5 star and we both felt very comfortable eating and drinking the day away, which is not always easy with food allergies. I want to note; we were told by a few different people how well corporate treats their employees at Miraval. The trickle down effect was incredibly apparent, and this model should be applauded. We have not a single negative thing to say about our experience. Miraval far, far exceeded my expectations - and the Berkshires is lucky to have such a gem in our midst.
Came in for a day and left feeling relaxed, refocused, and renewed. You can tailor the experience to however you want or need with the wide array of relaxation options, educational courses, or guided classes. We will be coming back.
Highly recommend. Not just a spa but a mind and body experience. I love that it is all inclusive but the cost of the premium classes can add up but worth every penny.Rooms: 5/5
I’m honestly surprised at the lower reviews, that is just not the experience I had during my stay. My mom and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute! All the staff is amazing and very accommodating! Trey, who does the valet, was super personable and very on top of things! The spa was our favorite and all the treatments we received were great. All of the classes that we took were great as well! We got to play with the chickens, pet the donkeys and even got to see a bear in the wild. Highly recommend the mushroom classes and gardening classes, with Sarah, if that’s at all of interest to you. She is so knowledgeable. I also loved the all inclusive/no gratuity. It just made things so much easier than having to worry about having cash with you at all times to tip. Food was good too! I will definitely go back!
Just finished a 3 day trip here. All I can say is it exceeded my expectations. I read some negative reviews which I was nervous about. However, the only thing I can tell you is my experience and what to expect. First, this is truly a health and wellness resort. It is not a resort that happens to have a wellness experience mixed in with the normal resort hustle and bustle. Everyone here came to disconnect and enjoy reconnecting with friends, nature or self. You will not see children, people on business calls, texting or taking selfies. Everyone is on a mindful, health journey and they really dive in. The staff was amazing and the food was wonderful. Food is very health focused. You will see gluten free, vegan and dairy free on every menu. There are also grab and go options. I read reviews that talked about this not up to par for a “luxury” resort, but the purpose of this is so you can grab a healthy bite in between your classes if you don’t have time to sit down. It’s also very nice if you just want a moment and don’t want to fuss with a menu or the process of ordering. It’s just one of the options for food. The classes change often but they host wonderful variations of yoga, meditation, cooking and adventure classes. They also have artistic classes like painting and pottery just to name a couple. There are more options than you can think of. Oh and how could I forget THE SPA! Just gorgeous. Steam room, sauna, all the things. Highly recommend checking out this property, and if you go, book all of your classes before you leave or you won’t have the same experience. Enjoy!
Extremely happy with our experience at Miraval for 3 nights. Everyone from the valet team -shout out to Trey who was always there with a smile and caring attitude to the practitioners were on their A-game. This place is special because if you want to disconnect, it provides the space and tools to do so. We were extremely impressed with the food as well. Simple, clean, and local ingredients is always part of the theme. If you're looking for michelin star food, you won't get that here. The food here gives your body a detox from all the added sodium and preservatives that are found in restaurant food these days. We will definitely be back to keep resetting our minds and body yearly. My favorite class was the Owl Wisdom and my husband and I both loved the complimentary golf please keep this benefit, Miraval! Overall, A+++
I absolutely love coming to Miraval! From the moment you arrive, you will be catered to every need. The spa services and amenities are incredible,!! the food is delicious and healthy and the beds are so comfy, like you are sleeping on a cloud. If you are looking to relax and reset this is the place to do it! Can’t wait to come back!
All of the staff we met were very helpful and well meaning, however, the training could have been more thorough as details were often overlooked or meal orders delivered in error. The SPA was very clean and well-appointed, the pricing for massages is quite high and perhaps not a good value.
