Had a spa pedicure with my girlfriends this past weekend and there were no dryers to dry your polish afterwards. The heated neck wrap was not even heated and the massage was maybe 5 minutes. Waited 60 minutes for my polish to dry before I left and two of my nails were completely smudged. My friends had the same bad experience. A very slight hand massage with a deluxe manicure and one friend noticed bubbles in her gel polish. On a positive note, the restaurant was very nice and the resort building and location were beautiful - would not go back to the nail spa though.

What's not to like here? Had an amazing room, drinks at the bar with its heavy Newport vibe. Went over to their "theater" and saw The Capitol Steps (excellent!) who are in residence for July and August. The bellman was great and very helpful. Spa prices were stupidly high. And a one-hour massage does NOT last 50 minutes. Tell your therapist s/he is not the only one charging for 50 minutes. Bad trend.

The food was healthy but tasty. The rooms were comfortable. There was not soap at all the sinks by our meeting room and the blind was broken in room 310. Grounds are lovely. Capital steps funny and really enjoyed. Staff very helpful. Thanks.

Nice course, but I've had better food than what we were served at this event in the 'barn'. It had some to do with the event but the next week we went to Berkshire Hills with the same group and the food service was better. The restaurants and the tavern are always good.

Very disappointed! I reserved an 80 min massage appointment for my mother as a birthday present and I truly regret it. As suggested at the time of the reservation, she was 30 minutes earlier for her appointment and was never acknowledged by staff members. After waiting for almost an hour, she asked about the delay and she was told her appointment was at 6 p.m., a half hour later from the time I had reserved it for. Not only she was attended late but her massage was 20 minutes short. I requested to speak with the manager who was supposed to call me the next day but instead, I received a phone call from an employee telling me how sorry the manager was and as a response to my complaint, part of the service cost would be refunded to me. Unfortunately, refunding money won’t alleviate the effect of a bad experience.
