Southview Mini Warehouses

I run a housing program in Eau Claire and needed a storage unit for donations asap. I called Southview and there was one available right away. The best thing was that for the past 2.5 years they have donated the storage unit to us. Our storage unit has remained in tact and very secure. I know that our belongings are safe! We did not have to pay and still do not have to pay to be able to store these large donations. It has helped us out so much. Because of the kindness, professionalism and availability I purchased my own storage unit for my own personal use for a few months. After I was no longer in need the deposit was returned to me in a very timely manner. I seriously could not ask for better people to work with in this process! Thanks for all that you do and your willingness to help out with our program!!

Number one they are excellent people to deal with. I have had better service with them than any other business. I have been a tenant with Southview Mini Warehouses for about 8 years and have had no problems with them at all. They are wonderful and honest people. Sometimes on Sunday it is hard to get answers because they are church going people that like to have a day off just like any other person in the world. They are very accommodating when it is needed. They are also very quick to be at your service as soon as they are able. I have never in the years that I have been with them had anything bad to say about them. I would definitely recommend them to everyone before any other company. I have also never had any burglaries in my unit.

Fairly priced units. Eyes always watching and checking on the units. It's on the number 5 and 6 bus bus routes. Two blocks away . Very convenient for for those for those without a vehicle.

Burglary! Followed by lies on the part of Southview. The pieces holding the locks on the old units can easily be pried off since the "wood" they are screwed into is really just a cardboardish particle-board. My parents' unit was burglarized 2 nights ago. The police told us that there are constant burglaries there. Evidently the owners are not interested in changing the structure of the locking mechanisms to prevent burglary. Moreover, the owners did not respond to numerous phone calls yesterday from me, requesting that they come secure my parents' unit, so my brother and I had to go and empty the unit to keep my parents' possessions safe (today my dad rented a unit at Menard's). To make things even more absurd, today the owners contacted me both via phone and in writing and denied that my parents were even renting that unit!!! Do they really think that they can get away with that?

I originally called for a 10x25 Unit but there was a mix up and they didn't have any of those left. I spoke to Phyllis and Dennis and they offered me a 10x20 unit and another smaller unit close by for the price of one unit since i originally showed up ready to load up a 10x25. Dennis and Phyllis were very understanding considering i just moved here from New Jersey.
