The doctors themselves are good but nobody answers the phone. They refuse to give the pharmacy permission to do refills so I have to call in every time but I can't call in before I'm almost out so I end up waiting several days for someone to call back to set up an appointment for nearly 2 weeks after I've run out of my meds so a doctor can talk to me for 30 seconds and MAYBE remember to fax the pharmacy. Lather rinse repeat every 3 months.
I've been a patient at this clinic since it first opened and I'm disgusted by how it's now being run. What became standard practice during COVID, to get an appointment over the phone for a prescription refill, is now not a thing - they told me I have to come in and when I questioned it, it's because I "haven't had an appointment since October 2021." You want me to come in, have the Doctor ask the same questions they would ask over the phone, all because I haven't been physically in the clinic since last year? That makes no sense to me. It's a waste of time for me and it's a waste of time for the Doctor who has many other patients with actual issues that need to be seen. It seems that this new management group is focused entirely on making money even if patient care suffers first appointment available December 5th - they make more money on patients coming in than they do for over the phone consultations. And don't get me started on all the new "in-house services" - those should not be in a medical clinic where there are sick people. Just more money for management! I've put up with a lot of stuff over the years, as some stuff is expected at medical clinics, but this is the last straw - I will now be going elsewhere. At least I can get appointments faster than 2.5 weeks away in a clinic down the street.
Awesome experience!!!! I am seeing a Nurse Practitioner, Chiro and an RMT at that clinic and no issues with any of them. In fact I have seen significant improvement in my overall health since dealing with them for the past 5 months.
Excellent experience, dealing with 4 different parts of the clinic and I have absolutely nothing to complain about an only appreciate the effort they have put towards improving my health. I can't thank them enough.
Still requiring masks not just recommending like other clinics in town. Doctors should practice medicine, not politics. Response from owner implies that the other clinics in town are not "properly" practicing medicine. That's a bold claim... now seems even more political.
Stop wasting everyone’s time, and change your sign. You are no longer a walk-in clinic and are false advertising. Is being fiscally responsible more important than being ethically responsible? Not everyone has the ability to check Google before assuming a clinic with a giant sign that says “walk in”, is by appointment only.
The doctors are fine but it is supposed to be a walk in clinic and 1 time out of 10 have I actually been able to walk in and get seen by a doctor. Always get turned away with at least 2 hours before they are supposed to close. Can't walk in without an appointment in the morning and still can't do so in the afternoon most of the time. If it is not actually a walk in clinic, which it really doesn't seem to be, they need to change the clinic name. It is pathetic to have a walk in clinic that don't take walk in appointments.
This clinic is well run & on time. The practitioners are great.
Drove from Lamont to have my daughter seen at the "walk in clinic" where I was told this clinic was NOT a walk in. Could have fooled me by the 400x400 sign out front. ridiculous
I have no problems with the doctors, they're totally fine and are really helpful, the problem is with the reception service, which has gotten worse lately. Today, I had an appointment at 9:40 AM with my son, he had to miss two classes at school to attend it. When we came in, we waited almost an hour for our doctor to come in but he didn't, one of the receptionists came in and told us there was some kind of mistake and that wasn't actually the room we we're supposed to be in, so we went back to the receptionist area and it turns out they were having problems in their computer system? I assume, and I don't think they even booked our appointment since they couldn't even find our name on there. At the end they just told us that we have to book another appointment for a different day because something went wrong and there's something going on with their appointment booking system. What's disappointing is that my son missed half of the school day and It would've been much better if I got a call from one of the receptionists telling me that there's something wrong with their system beforehand. This problem affected some of the other people in the waiting area as they had to rebook their appointment and just leave as well. Basically, I think that there needs to be some work done on their organization skills, and if there's a problem like this again, then the patient should get a call about it so they'd know whether they should actually go or book an appointment for a different day rather than going there while a tech issue Is occurring. I honestly just feel like the girls at the reception desk were confused and didn't know what to do.
