South St Burger

This burger joint may single handedly be the worst establishment. I was craving a burger, I thought maybe Five Guys or Burger Priest but nay… this was close I thought I’d give it a chance. After waiting 45 minutes my disappointment was immeasurable. The burger was burnt and dry, and the bacon was burnt. It tasted like biting into charcoal. The fountain drinks all taste like water because they don’t filter the syrup properly, I tried multiple because every time I poured one it had no flavour. All this and a meal costs $20-25. It was an all time robbery, a heist if you will. Trust me and don’t ever go here.

somehow it took them 45 minutes to make 1 burger? not only were my fries cold but raw? I live a 5 minute walk away so I thought I would give this place a try but I really wish I didn’t. The chicken burger was a Costco breaded chicken breast that was very over cooked, tomato was translucent, fries were clearly made hours ago and just left to scoop up for guests without any form of heat element and it’s so over priced! 20 dollars for a small fry and solo burger. Shame on charging people money for this sort of food.

Finally, this Burger Joint is under new ownership and the difference is instantly noticeable! Long overdue change. Korean BBQ Burger was cooked fresh upon ordering and it was delicious. Will definitely try some of the other menu items.

I used to go to the Lansdowne location regularly, and thoroughly enjoyed their burgers. This location is just awful. When I arrived with my daughter there were 4 people behind the counter yet we stood there awkwardly waiting to be greeted. Eventually someone said hello to us we placed our order. I had to ask for the bacon to be replaced because it was about 70% burnt. The toppings did not look fresh. The chipotle sauce had a very visible film on top of it. Service was extremely slow even though we were the only customers. When we got our meal home we both had to add stuff to our burgers since they were tasteless. The fries were the worst I've ever had. They tasted weird. Possibly the oil they were fried in was very old. They were unedible. How is this place still open? Don't waste your money. I am never going back.

idk why all the reviews are so bad? customer service is always very pleasant, they let you make any modifications to your order, the food is delicious. there are many bad reviews about wait times. if you’re ordering REAL beef it takes time to cook a burger, especially if you’re making up to 24 at a time!!! mcdonalds does it in 5-10 minutes because the “beef” is 2mm thick, pre-cut, practically microwaved, and it’s nearly a 50/50 meat to fat ratio!! if wait times are wha you care about go there! this place has decent beef, at a decent price, with a decent value. its no Michelin star but its far better than i expected my first time going. learn how to cook your own damn burger

Joanne made a great burger - very nice people and clean establishment. Lots of toppings and options to choose from. Takes a while to make but the freshness can't be beat

Honestly I don’t usually write reviews but my burger was so salty and took more then an hour to make. I ordered on skip the dishes and it said it’ll be ready in 20 mins so I head over when it says 5 mins left and I get there my burger is still on the grill, I assume like 5 mins it’ll be ready, nopeeee waited another 20 mins. It has potential to be a good spot but I tried the halal burger which really shouldn’t be any different the an original burger but it was the most saltiest burger I have ever had which took away from any other possible taste it had

Every Friday me and my friends go and try a new burger place and this is probably one of the best places we’ve ever had! We started to make our Friday tradition just South St. Burger because of this joint. Amazing, thank you!

The burger was great and the ingredients were fresh, the staffs were friendly, and the service was fast. Good thing that they are open during Family day! Food: 5/5

Decided to give this place a try never had anything from here before, burgers are great, I quite enjoyed it, but I can tell there lazy and don't care for food quality because they served me nasty black overcooked fries soaked in oil, more then usual, was pretty disgusting, never knew how hard it was to cook edible friesFood: 2/5
