"We're big believers in burgers n' fries being a tasty canvas to showcase all kinds of fun and craziness. We believe food can create powerful emotions and memories that can last forever. We want to be your BFF, no matter where you're from, or what you believe in. We feature AAA Angus chuck patties that are handballed and smashed to form a juicy patty with a beautiful crust on brioche buns. The only reason we are giving them 3* mainly is because food handlers were not wearing any aprons, gloves or hair nets. The work attire a food handler wears on the job could infect food with biological or physical contaminants if no food safety measures are implemented. The burgers were good, chicken was a little overdone but the fact that they were so saucy made them taste good.
It is not as good as it used to be in the past 2-3 years ago. You can substitute any burger for a beyond meat patty which is convenient for me but the extra 3$ doesn’t make it super affordable. For an extra 3 or 4$, a non-vegetarian eater could’ve gotten a full side upgrade with fries, sauce and a pop. That’s a full meal. I had the picante burger which had some nice sauce and taste. Location is still very open, not crowded, has a few seats and is overall clean and simple.
Tried the new Red Light Green Light Duo which was a fun concept given the viral popularity of the Squid Game show. We don't usually go for extravagant burgers and poutines like this because they're so heavy but it was a nice treat. The smash burger patty really came through and the kimchi ketchup was a nice touch. The dalgona beef bacon was chewy, crispy, and smoky but we didn't get much sweetness at all. The panko crusted hotdogs were freshly fried which made an interesting but salty addition. We would prefer some more green light elements like the scallions or other freshness to cut through the salt. I wouldn't go for this Duo again but perhaps for a classic burger/poutine since those standard elements were good. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They're masked up but we dined in but nobody checked our vaccine record.
Decent burger place, beautiful sear on the patty, legit smash burger. Caramelized onions were nice, not super caramelized but still good and lots were on the burger. Price was a tad high but this isn't a frozen, cookie cutter burger joint. I don't mind paying the premium for a premium burger. Fries were great as well, would definitely come back if I'm in the area again. Thanks!
I love BFF for their unique and creative Duos that they put out every other month! I’m always excited to see what they will invent next. Their regular menu burgers and fries are tasty, too, though! I can tell that only high quality ingredients are used when making their food. It’s also nice that this place is inclusive by being halal friendly. If you’re in search of a yummy burger place with reasonable prices and all fresh ingredients, this is your place!
Ordered through deliver app. Food luckily arrived still warm. Lightly seasoned onion rings and fries were crisp and delicious. Garlic sauce was delicious. Burgers were good, too, but the brioche bun wasn't my favourite - didn't really hold up to the condiments in burger. Will be back!
Amazing location and great staff. Wow. Halal certified! This location has been open for 7 years. Definitely a hidden gem. Be sure to get the poutine!
We ordered online for pickup. When we got there the staff hadn't received the order yet on the tablet, fortunately it mysteriously showed up once we told them what it was. We had paid extra to get cheese on a burger and to get the elegant fries, but once we got home with the food there was no cheese on the burger and we got regular fries. The Nashville chicken sandwich was mediocre. Chicken was decent, but the small amount of pickle and coleslaw on the bun meant it was too dry overall. Terrible value for money as well, it was $45 for two of us. Don't order online as at best the system is unreliable. Edit - We left a review in the app and they did partially refund us for the burger combo which was lovely of them. Changed to 3 stars
Burgers are delicious and staff is super friendly, but this is the second time I’ve received a raw burger : I didnt go back to the restaurant because I had already driven half way home. Other than this I would give it a 4-5 stars, so I’ll give it another chance but please fix this serious issue because it is not the first time and I do not want to be sick. thanks edit: I got reimbursed and returned multiple times since and this issue never occurred again : great service and great food
Used to love this place and their melt burger was my all time favourite burger for a long time until my recent experiences. I went there last weekend only to receive almost raw bacon inside the burger. The burger itself was very dry. It was hot inside the restaurant and there were flies everywhere. Oh, and they also give less than half the amount of fries they used to give before. Sorry, but I think you may have lost a loyal customer.
