Story

Monday thru Friday breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 11:00 am , lunch from 11:00 to 4:00 pm and dinner from 4:00 to 10:00 pm. Saturday brunch is served from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and dinner from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Everyday we offer happy hour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, $1.50 off all glass pour wines and $1.00 off all drafts. We are a scratch kitchen and source many of our products locally. In addition to our menu we offer an extensive wine list, 12 draft micro brews focused on Michigan, and a collection of craft cocktails utilizing our many niche spirits.

First time eating here. Food was great. Decent prices for the high caliber of food. Staff was friendly and outgoing. I’m giving 4 stars only because I didn’t like the seafood chowder, I was extremely excited for the seafood chowder and was bummed because it was super salty. Other then that fantastic, I will be back.
Amazing food and amazing staff! What’s so great about soup spoon is you can be in for a delicious $10 sandwich or have an elegant $30 duck platter at the same place as an incredible breakfast. This place does it all and never once has disappointed.
We started with the shrimp in lobster cream sauce cherry bomb shrimp. I highly recommend this dish. The entrees took a bit to come out but we didn't mind at all since their cocktails are amazing the black emerald is so good. The lamb meatballs and coconut shrimp were outstanding and well worth the wait!!! I can't wait to go back!!
Good food! But don't place an order online...they might not receive it! Placed two orders online with a few extra items I wanted, and they never got my first order with all the main dishes. Had to wait in my car another 30 minutes. I showed them my email confirmation, and they still asked several times if I had completed my order.
The food here was fantastic and they do accept reservations, so that made things very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely want to go back!
The food is delicious- I definitely recommend the Chesapeake Benny. Every dish I’ve ever had here is delicious. The staff are so friendly. Sasha is wonderful at the bar and makes beautiful cocktails. An absolute Lansing gem. If you go nowhere else while you’re here, at least grab breakfast at soup spoon before you leave.
Wow! The food is excellent! The Lamb meatballs were outstanding! I highly recommend! & The scallops were the most perfectly cooked scallops I have ever had! If you want 5 star food in an artsy atmosphere you should the Soup Spoon Cafe. You will not be disappointed!
After college visit on the other side of the state, we decided to stop for dinner. What a pleasant surprise! The manager was amazing! Friendly, kind, knowledgeable and from our town. Dishes pictures are: Petit Vegan Duo, Pesto Prima Vera, Reuben, Lamb Sliders. Everything was made from scratch, flavorful, and fresh.
