Don't skip out on Joe's Cuban Sandwich & Deli. The restaurant may seem very unassuming but the sandwiches were great. The menu is quite extensive. Service was great and welcoming.Food: 5/5

This unassuming slice of Havana is tucked away in a small Williamston shopping plaza they have another location in East Lansing. The moment you open the door, you’re greeted with a sensational aroma and you know you’re in for a treat. The owners are friendly, helpful and hands on in operations. They care and it comes through in the quality of the food. I had the Aurora combo and my wife had the Chicken Artichoke. Both were excellent as were the sides of beans and rice. This place is just a few minutes off 96 and well worth the excursion.

I'm not good enough with word to describe how much I enjoy the food, but suffice to say it's quite excellent. I also had a pleasant experience with who I think is the owner? He was nice enough to do a delivery that he didn't have to. Jose's is a staple in Lansing and if you haven't tried it yet your missing out.

Jose’s food is always wonderful. His staff at the Pennsylvania Avenue location was so kind and genuine. It was really nice meeting her. Food was really good. I ordered pickup through Door Dash. I don't know where the shortcoming was, but I was notified that my order was ready but upon arrival they had not even started. They didn't seem too polite about it either, for some reason, but my medianoche Cuban sandwich was excellent nonetheless. I'd order again.

Wow...the artichoke sandwich is amazing.... smiling right now as I eat this sandwich. Would prefer if the meat was Halal. Otherwise the taste is amazing ... Don't let the environment fool you, this place tastes really great. The food feels pretty clean. Either way really delicious, however nutritionally it might not be the best., will likely eat here again!

Not what you are expecting, based on exterior. Jose's Cuban food is awesome, based on a recommendation from a coworker. I went once and I have 3 times since, in the same week. Get any sandwich in a combo and get the beans and rice . Chicken quesadilla is great as well . Go try it.Food: 5/5

A true hidden gem! I was up late and starving so I got the chicken platter special and it was incredibly delicious. The chicken was marinated perfectly and the sides of black beans, rice, and a salad were all tasty as well. Extremely convenient takeout experience and friendly counter service!

This is a must try establishment in the city. I had the artichoke chicken sandwich with a side of beans and salad and I will tell u that the smell was so intoxicating that I didn't get a picture of the sandwich before I noticed a several bites gone from one half...the phantom bites were me..I just couldn't resist. It tasted as great as it smelled. I really felt a small bit sad when the last morsel was gone. Yes this is located within a gas station. Don't miss out because u think that makes a difference in cleanliness or quality.
