Been here a couple of times. Takes a while to get drinks, it would be cool if they could figure that out. Food is good enough and the prices are right. The "DJ" can't blend music so he just backspins or uses the brake to transition between songs all the time combined with the goofy horn sound.. Just off beat and if you wanna dance you won't find your groove.
Had dinner and a drink here with friends. The burgers looked amazing! I had the Burger dip and it was ok. Kinda dry. Fries were hot and drinks were strong. A.good time.
It’s gotta be better now that the mean be-otch Nancy sold the place. She’s psycho. Rip Nelly, she was the best bartender! Food is good and pool tables are okay. Bandidos hang out here so come with multiple hommies.
Highly recommended by the front desk agent at the hotel we were staying at. It was an unfortunate experience for us. The bartenders seemed to be having a bad night and came across as extremely unfriendly and rude. Drinks we easy to get at first but then became nonexistent because they only had one bartender scheduled for the night with a concert just getting out.
The Soundview is a great tavern if you want to something to drink or eat. They have the best food! Their ranch sauce is incomparable! Everything from the sampler platter, burger platter, or sliders; if you have a hunger that is more on the lighter side. Their food has always been excellent. A friend of mine would go there with me bi -monthly for lunch together until the pandemic slowed things down everywhere. The servers that work there are awesome and bust their buttons because the get busy! You don't see employees like that as often these days!
Drinks aren't even drinkable, straight alcohol. I don't know how this place is still in business with the amount of people I know who have been roofied here
The staff and regular patrons at the establishment are just really nice people. I got to know them over the period of 3 days while I was in the hospital with my wife. At the end of it I felt like they were as equally invested in my daughter being born as I was. The food is delicious and everything is fairly priced. That being said for those who were interested she was born as healthy as could be!!! I plan to come back as soon as I'm able.
Dont judge a book by it's cover..staff is friendly and quick. This bar n grill is a great place to play pool, hang out with friends or meet new ones. The food is good, better then a lot of "nice" restaurants; the drinks are spot on no matter what you order and the price is right for both food and drinks. A friendly diverse crowd of people. There is a fairly large outdoor area for smoking, Horse Shoes and whatever else. Go and enjoy. It's a fun place.
Nice little spot with a chilled vibe & great atmosphere. Bartender was great, wonderful with keeping everyone happy! Absolute plus was the pinballs though.
Sound View has gotten some bad reviews in the past, but I need to let you all know that it's a good little corner-neighborhood bar. Couple of pool tables and good drinks. What more do we need. Ty Sound View
