First time here and this place and I cannot wait to go back again. I visited on a Thursday morning when the restaurant was not busy. I liked the vintage feel and look. The low but subtle modern music added a nice contrast. I ordered the country fried steak and the portions were not overly large which I enjoyed. The steak itself was soft enough that the fork could cut it. The waitresses were not pushy and allowed me to choose my food. They knew how to read the room based off of which customers liked to talk and ones that do not like me. I just wanted to eat. Great location but I could see parking being an issue on the weekends and/or busier times. At least when it is busy, you could have the option to walk around the Everett area and see other places.
We were visiting Seattle and decided to stop at Vintage Cafe for brunch as it has very high ratings. The restaurant is in downtown Evertte near the farmers markets which are available on the weekends. It has a diner or more retro vibe going for it. Lots of comfort meal options. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes to get seated, they were busy but had seats available. However I think due to the low number of staff the tables could not be cleaned fast enough for a quicker turn around. Took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive upon ordering, they also forgot about our soup and half way into our meal I had to ask to follow up to remind them. The food tasted ok, nothing superb or special. The portions were decently sized. We felt like the service could definitely be improved but I understand they are probably understaffed. Probably not a repeat in my books but worth a try if you happen to be in the area.
Great old school food with some interesting options and specials. Hash browns are killer! Going back soon. Get there early and expect a wait- but worth the wait!
Nice breakfast spot in downtown Everett. The menu has some nice options. They even have scaled down meals, mini omelettes or two-stack pancakes... Kid-friendliness: High chairs and small meal options. Pancakes and french toast!
Everett isn't what is used to be and has really cleaned up! This Cafe is a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious food. They have ots of fun things to look at on the wall and can even serve large groups. We will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Little hidden gem & family owned. My son & I love coming here. They serve breakfast all day. Adorable vintage place inside. The food is great & the staff are all very nice.
While we've eaten at Vintage Cafe many times before and enjoyed it, this time I felt compelled to leave a review. We came in early on a Wednesday, not knowing that a large concert was scheduled that evening at a venue a few blocks away. The restaurant became more and more crowded after we were seated, and there appeared to be only one server working the floor during the early part of our meal. Throughout the entire meal we watched as she gracefully and deftly moved from greeting, seating, taking and serving orders, and checking on patrons. It's worth noting that all of this occurred before an appropriate number of additional servers came on board for dinner shift. I don't want to leave the impression that Vintage Cafe understaff! The point is that, because of the concert, this was an evening rush that began much earlier then usual. Our food, as always, was enjoyable. It was the level of service, however, that set the evening apart. Were it possible to give six stars for service we would gladly do so, as our server showed grace, professionalism, and kindness through the entire process. When we thanked her and complimented her on the service she showed a level of humility and appreciation that capped the evening. Restaurant wait staff are among the most abused and underappreciated career paths these days. To have been served by one who not only continues to do so in these challenging times but brings so much grace and professionalism was an honor.
Hungry man breakfast with french toast and mini omelette with ham and cheese. Coffee and orange juice. Everything was top notch, and cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5
We were seated within 5 minutes but food took around 40 minutes. I had the eggs benedict and it wasn't great. The hashbrowns were very soggy and the hollandaise sauce was bland. They were very busy and I felt bad for the waitress as she seemed to be alone in the entire room. My son didn't eat his biscuits and gravy because he said it tasted off so I didn't eat it either. They did have cute cut up watermelon for a fruit dish and their apple juice and coffee was good.
Came here for Breakfast yesterday we had: 1. Meat Omelet 2. Side of Pancakes 3. Mini Breakfast with Bacon and sausage Of course everything tasted yummy and the service is always great! Btw the new floors the Owner put in are very nice! The hash browns here are so good! Monte Cristo was good and Chicken Fried Steak is yummy.
