Amazing place. They have a free attendance program for youth under 25. Definitely pay them a visit.
Have seen several shows here. Always great acting and stories being told. More often dark in theme. Small theatres get you a great seat every time. Minimal set design but looks great so don’t expect huge production. Definitely worth a visit if you’re coming to Toronto and appreciate live theatre done well.
Nice local theatre with some high quality productions. Overall I'd say the shows are entertaining, however some of the descriptions of the shows don't quite match up with the final product or at least in my mind they didn't. Overall I recommend this theatre.
Saw a chrismas Carol here. It was fun. The space is great because the stage is a center and 360 degree seating around the stage. Well for this hall. The other hall I didn't see. They have a good concession stand with some authentic treats, it's a good time.
Great theatre in the heart of the distillery district with multiple venues under one roof. A great stop when in the distillery for a show. The Royale was an amazing show.
Great evening, show was fun, entertaining and just long enough to keep everyone engaged. Venue is comfortable and super easy to access with ample parking and lots to do both before and after. Well worth a visit
We sat in row M, 2nd from the back and the seats we're great. The theatre is designed so there isn't a bad seat. The Play, Jesus Hopped the A Train was stellar!
I have seen two incredible productions at this theatre-Kim's Convenience and Spoon River. Amazing casts, directors, acting. Comfortable seats. Great views. I also love that this theatre is in the beautiful Distillery District, so you can walk around or easily go for dinner and drinks before or after the show.
