I really liked this theatre. It’s a quaint space, and different from the other big houses in the city. The theatre has wide seating and I doubt that there is one bad seat in the house. This theatre has a balcony and the bathrooms are to both the right and left of entrance 2, and 3. The coat check is right in-front of the door. We did not sit upstairs but there was a staircase leading up and fingers crossed they have a lift for accessibility. I think the staff could have been a little friendlier.
Friendly staff. Had box seats for Mike Birbiglia show and highly recommend. Great view of the stage and just outside our box 2 seating was a small women's washroom and at 8 months pregnant it was great to have that! The theatre is conveniently located right downtown so Go train a non issue. We drove and it cost us $7 for parking on a Saturday night at the Green P parking located at 2 Church Street. Great restaurants nearby as well.
Quaint theatre with amazing acoustics and visibility. No matter where you are sitting, you will see and hear the show quite well! Very much enjoyed my time attending a show here.
Here for Kid Koala's "The Storyville Mosquito" show. The coolest show I've ever seen. The theatre is a nice venue with comfortable seats. The box office could be a little better organized but staff was friendly and helpful.
Took my fiancée here to see Choir Boy for her birthday. The show was fantastic. Great acoustics and view we were on the balcony. Drinks and snacks from the bar are permitted into the theatre. Bathrooms available. Coat check available for a small fee and can be paid by card, not cash only. Friendly service.
Great and friendly staff. Drinks can be taken inside the theatre for most shows. Box office on site. Close to Green P parking and St Lawrence Market
Beautiful auditorium although the seats are not overly roomy. Concession stand, very limited snacks bags of chips and popcorn, along with a small selection of canned alcoholic beverages. I was pleased to set that the auditorium is wheelchair accessible via a lift.
Watched the Broadway Play 'Choir Boy' with front row balcony seats. I sat slightly off the side from the middle which had a good view of the stage. The seats were comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and informative with the program.
The seats are way too close together. I'm only 5' and I had a hard time stretching my little legs. The mezzanine is a bit roomier than the orchestra. Also, snacks should not be allowed while the play is going on.
On Oct. 14, I bought two tickets for Dec.9. And today Dec 1 they called me from the Box Office telling me they were moving us from Box 1 to Box 3. When I asked if there was any difference, they told me they were similar places. So I accepted. But when I checked online the locations, I found out that Box 3 was not only further away from the stage but the seats we were given were actually separated. I called and waited like 5 minutes for the person on the phone to contact her manager. She told me Box 1 was going to be used for a filming crew, so I asked her to at least put us in Box 3 but together. She told me the other two seats were taken and she could only offer me a back seat in the balcony... I asked for a refund, they made me wait again and then come back to tell me the refund will take a month. Is that customer service?
