Sonic Drive-In

Service was average and food was average, but the drive-in booths were below average. There were spider webs all over everything and bugs/spiders covering the lights and menus. We actually left because at night during the summer there were so many spiders and other insects that we didn’t want to stay there any longer. I will not be going back during the summer until they keep their outdoor section in cleaner condition...

I live not far from here. I have given this place a chance about a half dozen times over the last 2 years and every single time they disappoint. I like Sonic just fine, but this one is worth no ones time. I've accidentally gotten double charged for food I ordered and another time I even ordered a toaster and got the burger on un-toasted white bread...seriously? Of course it's always been after a long day and I don't want to cook or eat any other fast food, so why not try it again right? Surely they'll win me over this time right? I should have stopped after the second time it happened. I almost never write reviews but I can't help myself with this place. I understand that it's a Sonic but even if it was a BK, Taco Bell or wherever, I would still be doing this. I'm sure the staff are all fine people and I don't want to get the manager or anyone in trouble but come on. I've given you guys 5 or 6 chances because of how close you are to my home and every single time something has been messed up. Not okay, and it needs to be known.

Bit of a wait for our food but it was fresh and filling. Their lemonades are amazing.

TL;DR: Bad service, below average food. The cashier in the drive-thru tells us to go ahead with our order. We proceed to order a #2 (double cheeseburger) combo, a small jumbo popcorn chicken, small tots, and a medium green tea. The cashier is quiet throughout all of this, then tells us that she'll give us our total at the window. We pull around, and as I expected, she hadn't entered any of our order. We repeat it all, yet she manages to get it wrong. The burger had the wrong toppings (after we corrected her), the chicken/tots/tea were all large, and the cherry limeade slush is not a slush. She didn't allow us to correct her as she closed the window right away and took off outside to talk to the people in the car behind us (I assume she knew them from the sound of their banter). Fast forward, we get home and discover that the burger has the wrong toppings, the tots are cold, and the chicken is lukewarm and dry. Can't say we'll be going back any time soon, which is disappointing because I normally love Sonic. But we've given this location too many second chances. On the bright side, the sweet green tea with mango is delicious.

Went for food around 2, ordered a footlong chili dog and onions rings while my girlfriend ordered some popcorn chicken. The person taking the order was also extremely rude. I worked at a sonic as a cook and expediter (which is the name for the person who bags the orders) for 5 years. I say this because I know what the food looks like and how easy the job can be when it's slow. They handed me the footlong chili dog in the bag with the onion rings. This is especially bad because the chili dog was standing up, which means: 1. The chili fell down the dog into the bag , and 2. Cheese was all over the bag. The onion rings were okay and fresh at least. My girlfriend's popcorn chicken was extremely dry. It was either overcooked or really old. Had they looked at the chicken before bagging it they would have been able to see it immediately. I'm definitely not going back to this place and suggest that you stay away from it too.
