Son Rise Plumbing & Gasfitting Ltd

We have used Son-Rise plumbing for all of our plumbing needs for the last few years from a new natural gas line to the bbq to repairing some difficult faucets. Their pricing is upfront with no surprises and their staff is always professional and courteous and recommended a solution that was practical and cost-effective. I would highly recommend Son-Rise Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing service in Calgary. We just used them again for extensive work on an older home we just purchased and I am always surprised by the quality of their work, it exceeds my expectations every time!

I would, without hesitation, recommend Son-Rise Plumbing Limited. Unfortunately, a day before Christmas Eve, we noticed a leak in our water heater. I contacted a number of plumbers and the only one I was able to reach was Son-Rise. JD MacDonald came to our home on a Saturday afternoon to check-out the issue. He determined that our hot water tank needed to be replaced and gave me a quote on the spot. Given that the holidays were on our doorstep, he advised that we would be OK for a few days (saving costs to install at a premium) and that his team would be at our home first thing on Wednesday (first day back to work for most)morning to replace the tank. I will admit that I was a bit taken back by the price quoted by JD so, over the next few days, I did research and reached out to other plumbers. I received a second quote which was much more ($1700.00) more than the one provided by JD and Son-Rise Plumbing. At 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, JD called to advise that his team were on their way. They arrived at 8:15 a.m. and had the tank replaced before noon. Son-Rise, JD and his team provided a superior level of customer service throughout our dealings, he and his team were knowledgeable, professional and cleaned up before they left. I would suggest, based on our experience, that Son-Rise Plumbing should be the first company to call is you have a need for their services. Thank you!

My dishwasher was backing up, after looking through some youtube reviews to self service repair (no luck). I Called Son-Rise with a time constraint and they were great enough to send someone out in an hour. They did everything possible, but were unable to fix the problem (I needed an appliance technician) They referred me to an excellent technician. All in all a solid and consistent practice.

Son Rise has great customer service and really makes sure their customers are satisfied with the job. Their technicians and office staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that they make the effort to explain very thoroughly the process, any issues, and are sincere and honest when discussing our options and the associated costs. They really stand by their work after the job is done, which is rare to find nowadays. We had a few issues after installing a new hot water tank and Son Rise really went above and beyond to solve them. Technicians Alex and Pat are very friendly and professional, and Pat even came back to our house after thinking of a better solution on his way home! That shows they really care about their customers and don't just forget about a job once they leave your house. Thank you Alex, Pat, Phyllis, Kayla, and everyone at Son Rise.

Saw reviews online about how professional and knowledgeable the office staff was and called this morning to get a quote on a water heater installed. Was told they don't have that information and would need to send someone out. I told the receptionist a price I was quoted at 1 plumber for 3600 and she said that sounds right. But the second I told her Pete the plumber gave me a quote of 1600 to 2000 she gave me attitude and said " Pete the plumber operates differently than other companies in calgary and that's all I'm going to say" then told me to have a good day. Horrible customer service and would not use or recommend this company to anyone
