The floral department is kind and helpful. They were able to order me exactly what I needed and my arrangements came out beautifully. We received many compliments. Thank you!
Terrible experience! Pre ordered flowers 1 month in advance. Then call to confirm the day of said everything good. Then drive in to pick them up they don't have them! Then try to make me another order messed that up too this is after waiting at least 45 Mins bad customer service.
So I was looking all over Orangeville for a specific item and I all ready had been to 4 other stores. So I sat at the last store I was at and check their store on line for stock. They showed in-stock on their page with a green light beside the product, it showed it was indicating it was in stock. So I go in and look but can't seem to find it, so I asked a younger employee working there if he could help me and showed him my phone to show him they show stock. Another older bald bigger guy working there yells that's not how our website works like that very rude to me. So I say excuse me to the younger employee and said to the other guy why do you even have a website then. He said what is your problem to me , so I say my problem is I've been to 4 other stores and you show stock. He stood there giving me the worse dirty look like he wanted to fist fight me. I said to him you don't even care and said I'll call his manager when I get home. He said his names Derek. Wow this guy really cares about his job. No one takes pride in their work anymore and Rude Rude Rude.
I’ve been a regular at Sobeys for years, but my recent experience has left me really frustrated. I encountered a cashier named Max who failed to give me my change of $15 during checkout. I only realized this once I was at my car, so I went back to address it with him. Initially, I approached him friendly, but he immediately called me a liar and insisted that he had given me my change.nnThis response was infuriating, and after trying to explain my situation multiple times, I ended up raising my voice because he would not acknowledge his mistake. Instead of helping me, he told me to go away. When I asked to speak with a manager, he was reluctant to assist but did eventually tell me where to find her, after asking over and over again. She was polite, but all she could do was check cashier’s Max till to see if he was short, which he was—exactly the amount I mentioned. My change was given back and manager apologized.nnWhat really upset me was that Max didn’t apologize to me at all. Instead, he casually said to other customers that “someone is having a bad day, and I am so sorry” which felt dismissive. This experience has made me reconsider shopping at Sobeys, especially since there are other grocery stores nearby where I’ve never had issues.nnI hope this feedback leads to better training for staff in handling customers!
Excellent selection. Especially the meat and fish. The bread baked on premises can't be beat
