Ryan/FreshCo I originally started shopping at FreshCo when no frills tried to force me to get their version of a credit card (MasterCard) and stopped taking visa - at that time you were about on par for pricing / selection service etc Over the past 2 years you guys have gone way downhill on all counts while your prices have gone through the roof Every time I’m in there there are no working carts to put my kid in , I physically had to wait the other day for 7 other people to take carts before I could get access to one with a working strap Your prices are now on par with Sobeys (3.99 for 10% cream?) and when you do have it on sale you are out of stock There is almost always only 1 or 2 people on cash and I’ve seen the owner Ryan watch us all line up 10 carts deep without even making an effort to call another cashier to open And I caught that sneaky thing you did with diaper pricing last week - switching it from 32.78 to 37.28 expecting no one to notice Anyways not that you care about losing 1 customer but if I noticed I bet a bunch of others did as well

I've been happily using this FreshCo since it opened a long time ago. The produce is good, prices are just as good as anyone else in the area, offers price matching on other sales etc. The location always seems to be kept clean & well stocked as well. Ryan does a great job there & I'll continue to go there as long as I live in the area!

First of all I'd like to say I've already written to the head office and share the story. December 2, 2017 my son went to freshco in Orangeville to grab some groceries after working the night shift at a local company. After my son has completed his grocery shopping he proceeded to the front of the store to pay. That's when the cashier realized that his debit card was not working properly. It was not insufficient funds the card which is not working. Then the kindest thing happened! The cashier Jonnie Took out her smart phone and Tap paid for the groceries. My son was completely speechless. He told the cashier not to pay for his groceries and she said the kindest two words to him. "Merry Christmas". The kindness shown from this young woman is just wonderful. You have a customer for life. Jonnie your an awesome person & you are proof that there are still kind people in this world Merry Christmas

Basically a discount Sobeys, but prices are more expensive than No Frills, they do have a good ethnic food section though.
