Snap Fitness

If I could give it a zero I would. I’m still not over how this gym treated my father and it has taken me a long time to even write a comment because I am so upset. My father only did the bike at snap fitness never talked to anyone and cleaned up. Yes he sweat a lot but brought extra towels and cleaned up as much as he could. It’s a gym after all you sweat there. He was offered extra towels instead of bringing his own. Well that started the whole thing. The staff members bullied my father into quitting because HE SWEATS TOO MUCH! They were name calling him, never meeting up in person to discuss and actually send in an emails saying he is banned from using the bike and it would be better if he just quit.They do not know my father. He has critical depression and exercising was his outlet and they destroyed him because of it. They made a man trying to better his life feel like garage and not even care. I find this gym disgusting and unprofessional. If you want a gym where you feel comfortable, welcomed and able to sweat THIS IS NOT THE GYM FOR YOU!

I was very impressed with the level of service, the diverse equipment and all the amenities of Snap. Couple that with no contracts and reasonable membership fees - awesome.

Pro's - No contracts - Gym is open 24/7 - Equipment is good - You can actually hear the stereo and they have a lot of nice flat screen TV's - Plenty of Squat Racks - Nice green groom which is pretty unique and is a nice place to get your squats in - Facility in general is brand new feeling, probably because it is brand new lol. Con's - Gym is too small and impossible to workout in some days - Free weight section is way too small of an area. - You have to pay for the access card and if you cancel they will try to get you to keep it to prevent reimbursement - Some machines are too close together - Staff come off as kind of fake and cocky. Better off going during non staffed hours just because you get a "judgy" feeling from them when working out and they try to sell you their programs/personal training. Overall Go here if you like to workout between 10am-1pm and want a non busy gym, or if you like to workout late at night (after 11pm) and if you hate contracts. Better than some gym's in kamloops (much better than gold's)
